Labor 2: The Lernean Hydra: Should be a new swamp boss. Heads act as separate entities with low hp, body has high hp (but the player won't be attacking the body because, you know, the heads would bite him first). Killing a head leaves a stump for a few seconds, then spawns 2 more heads in its place unless you either use fire aspect or a flint and steel to cauterize it. Drops a whole bunch of hydra blood which is basically a Poison III potion, and some decorative heads.
Labor 3: The Hind of Ceryneia: Could be a passive mob that runs really fast and avoids the player, so it's hard to catch. But I think one of the devs previously said they don't want to add it so idk.
Labor 4: The Erymanthean Boar: Boars could be a new hostile mob found in forests. Like dragons, serpents, and death worms, their size could vary, from being slightly bigger than pigs, to bear sized, and the rarest of all, giant swine as tall as trees which inspire myths like the Erythmanean Boar.
Labor 5: The Augean Stables: Don't really see how this one could fit into Minecraft tbh. It's literally cleaning stables.
Labor 10: Geryon's Cattle: Red cattle from a mystical far off island? Sounds like it's time to take creative license and integrate Minecraft's own mythology. On mushroom islands, a fenced off area could spawn populated by mooshrooms. These mooshrooms however are guarded by a giant mushroom creature with three heads and six legs (that's how Geryon was described in the myth).
Labor 11: The Apples of the Hesperides: I mean golden apples are already a thing in the game, so this would be unnecessary. Also it's too lore heavy imo.
Labor 12: Cerberus: I suppose that could just be a giant three headed hound boss that spawns in the Nether. But personally I wouldn't want to add such an iconic monster without it having some important reward or reason for the player to go after it, and I currently cannot think of one. But then again, Minecraft's "underworld" already holds a three headed monster associated with death. Who knows, maybe the ancient people were really misinformed and recorded the Wither as being a doggo?

Timeless Modding is kinda dead but idk what to put here now
This will be the greatest mod of all time! Everything looks so fracking good, I cant wait to use this mod in my survival. Keep up the outstanding work.
Dragon breeding was something that was brought up at an earlier time and back then I shot it down, but I have an idea about that now. If you manage to breed two of you dragons, something that's not easy to do, one will spawn some eggs and lay down. Daddy won't care, but the "mama" dragon won't be very friendly anymore now that she has eggs to guard and she'll grumble whenever you get too close, perhaps within 5 blocks. You'll have to walk her far away before touching them or she could aggro when you try to collect them. Once she doesn't have eggs to guard anymore she'll be back to her usual cheery self. Only massive stage +4 dragons can breed and we've all heard about what a pain it'll be to feed them enough to reach that size, so imagine raising 2, managing to breed them, then the mother kills you for getting too close to the eggs. Something that might be a cool way to up the chances for two dragons breeding would be if the two dragons are owned by different players and therefor are less likely to have come from the same nest on a multi-player server.
I also had an idea for the Myrmex farming concept. Someone mentioned the idea of Myrmex queens hatching from queen eggs in established nests and then going off to start their own colonies. I had a thought about that. Young queens that either hatch and leave the colony from time to time or they spawn. You can find wandering the wilds. Other Myrmex will attack them for being foreign queens. They run from you, like a rabbit, but you could kill them for drops. Alternatively if you are wearing that Myrmex armor you can get closer, but she'll still be nervous. Hold out some sugar or something perhaps a bit rarer and she'll follow you, like a skittish bunny following the carrot. You can then plug her up in a player made queen's chamber and if the conditions are right and you feed her she'll lay her first eggs and the rest is history. In real life only a very small number of queen ants survive to make a nest so just because Myrmex queens are sometimes found wandering around in the wild doesn't have to mean that one could settle down and start a colony on your property. It would be far more realistic for them to endlessly roam about unless they just so happen to somehow become entrapped in a space that provides just the right conditions. As for the right conditions, I was thinking a completely sunless room with a floor space of at least 5x5 and a ceiling height of 3.

this is a wonderful idea, however i would like to tweak it some, a myrmex should eventually make its own nest, but only once its found a structure usuing wooden planks (your house)

yeah... i realized that not all the labors were realistic for minecraft after posting but a few labors could be done. definitely not the stables or the belt of hyppolyte and i guess there is already a gapple acheivement.
Hey you know what would be cool? This might already be in progress, but what if there were dragon societies. Most of the time dragons live in caves and single ones are extremely hard to deal with, but what if there were armies? The dragons could have hard to find, hidden away colonies, and even countries. And occasionally if you had a lot of resources, and I mean a lot, a scout dragon would come, eventually followed by his or her country! You'd have to have a huge village (because villagers and snow villagers could use swords and bows and shields and would have armies and kings, who would request you to come to their aid!) and skill fighting because they'd come to plunder all your hard work. Just thinking out loud
Kinda a flaw there.
Maybe add in that the nest is made out of lava or a freezing liquid for the ice dragon.
To make it just a bit more harder.
Isn't a nest guarded by a grumpy stage +4 dragoness difficult enough? You've already tamed it. But I can understand and would agree with needing to provide a suitable space for the eggs to be laid though rather than having her just drop them on the ground. Like building a nest. She won't lay eggs if there isn't a good place to lay them and she'd very picky about conditions.
And what are the steps for? I don't understand what that means.

At first I thought you meant societies like villages whose warriors have tamed dragons, not actual societies of dragons. I don't think dragons are intelligent enough to form civilizations, also it would be really OP if they did.

Ya. I think taking on 1 dragon will be quite a task. Let alone say 5 dragons flying around seeking you out.
I LOVE the look´s of this mod and i even have a little suggestion you should make a craftable stable item which could spawn a stable big enough for a fully grown dragon
of course it needs to be expensive but i personly prefere my big fire breathing lizard under control than roaming around the world and building one in the right size would take ages
I don't understand why you couldn't just build or carve out a place for it?

Building your own would be a better idea Bc u can customize it to yur likeing. Have it as high or little detailed as u want as big or small make it match yur house etc. the benefits of building your own are far better than a pre made one
I don't know if I missed it or what, but what does that dragonbone horn do?

Now look, buddy. I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like 'what is beauty', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. Like, how am I going to stop some big, mean mother-hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work: Use more gun. Like this heavy-caliber, tripod-mounted little ol' number designed by me. Built by me. And you'd best hope, not pointed at you.
i could but it would be really cool and thex could add aspects you cant build in minecraft as example iceicles ore stallacmites and stuff like a foodbowl for dragons
also only an idear first of all they should release it as soon as possible iam so looking forward to it:D
sry for sending twice
Mold it, Shape it, Dominate it, and Bend it to your will! Make it your own! Give into the eternal bliss that is becoming One with Minecraft!
They wanted the developers to code some instant structure item. Like a pop up lair for pet dragons at the tap of a block. I say just build the darn stable/ lair yourself. Embrace The Spirit Of Minecraft! There are so many builds that can be copied or altered to taste if they can't come up with something for them self. And how do instant structures fit with the medieval / ancient Greek theme? It's like asking for laser guns. It's Minecraft! Now go craft! Live the dream!
achievements:
Kill Dragon - Dragon Slayer
Kill Cyclops - My Name is Nobody
hatch a baby dragon - Daddy!
find your first dragon egg - Egg Snatcher
