Ok will try that then. Is there a wiki? Cause keeping mf forum pages open is for some reason a real memory/cpu hog while trying to play. If not, I can probably start one.

Yes, hello? Well, uh, I got two important questions to answer.
1. Why is the WeedWood lantern crafted with non-Betweenlands items/resources? It kinda defeats the purpose of it.
2. I can't seem to place any lanterns at all, whether in Survival or Creative, it's kinda starting to bother me. Is there something I'm missing? Or is it just a bug?
Anyways, other than that, thanks a ton! And splendid mod you have there!

Hey just tried your latest file for 1.7.10 and I seem to be crashing whenever I start my MC. I'm stumped as to what the problem is.

Did you rename the Fairy Lights jar? It should be fairylights-1.4.0-1.7.10.jar, I see it as [1.7.10]Faelighting.jar in the crash report.
Yes, I did rename the jar file, just due to the folder I keep the file in is filled with other mods of both 1.7.10 and 1.8 mods. [1.7.10]Faelighting.jar is the fairylights-1.4.0-1.7.10.jar. Would that be a source of my problems?[/i]

No, I was just thinking maybe the jar wasn't the official one and then it could be. I tried playing with all the mods and same Forge in the crash report and fairy lights didn't cause me to crash. Can you provide me the the startup log, preferably with pastebin? The one that's in logs/fml-client-latest.log
Very cool about new holiday lights!
Ok will try that then. Is there a wiki? Cause keeping mf forum pages open is for some reason a real memory/cpu hog while trying to play. If not, I can probably start one.
This forum acts in the place of a wiki. I don't see how there is enough content in the mod to warrant a separate wiki.

Both things work as intended, although the stained glass thing is not by choice.

What Are the Permissions for this mod?
It's free to use in mod packs.

I am sorry but does this mod work with sharder?
PS sorry for bad english XD
Suggestion: How about having it show only a random colour of each type of lantern in NEI? Having every colour for every type of lantern gets kind of cluttered, but of course I still want to be able to see what styles are available in NEI
Also similarly, it would be really handy if you could get your recipe handler to show up in NEI; I currently keep having to have the front page of this thread on-hand when I'm using them. This is a great mod though, so it's a tiny issue
How do you create flashinng lights? Like the ones that turn on and off slowly.
Read the second crafting paragraph.

Aww the new lights are adorable!
I also really like the addition of the tinsel in the mod! I've wanted to ask if you would do something similar but wasn't sure if it was something you wanted in the mod. If you are going to be adding more things like it, can I reccomend paper flag bunting like these?
Those are actually already on my to-do list! Along with the ability put letters on them. I don't have a planned release date currently.

Is there a way to attach them to fences?

You just right click on the fence. It's only for vanilla fences though, I'll probably change that in the future.
