Currently, using a Hang Glider while standing on top of a Fan will shoot you hight into the air, making it function as a way of regaining your altitude while Hang Gliding (effectively making long-distance Hang Gliding routes a viable means of transportation). Eventually they will also be rotatable, and will be able to blow other entities around (though much less far than HangGliding players), but we didn't have time to implement all that in this update.
Unfortunately, we really can't do anything about that. We can't make it compatible with any older versions of Forge since that would require removing Magma from the mod entirely, so your best bet is to just temporarily un-block Forge's ad website, or wait until the recommended version becomes .1499 or higher.

Hi! My name is Godzillanator and I am a frequent user of your mod. I play your server all the time and would like to give back to this awesome mode. I had made texture before for my own texture pack and would love to give you some textures. Here is some Ice Cream :). P.M. Me if you need the assistance. My gamertag is Godzillanator.

Ok, so I managed to download the mod, and something needs to be done about the lag.
The mod should only really be lagging during the initial world generation, which is somewhat unavoidable due to how we have to generate the biome-specific stone types. The game shouldn't be lagging any more than Vanilla once the world's generated, though, so I'd need more details on what you were doing when the lag started. The most likely reason I can think of is if your computer doesn't have a very good GPU it might have problems rendering all the Leaves in Redwood biomes, but if that's the case, just change the graphics to fast instead of fancy and you should be fine.
Can I disable some features that might conflict with other mods or that I don't like? Maybe a config?
We actually do already have a config file for a number of our features, but you'd have to be more specific as to what you want to see added to it. The file currently allows you to change things like Uranium/Plutonium's poison range, the chance of getting new seeds from breaking tall grass, the probability of certain mob drops, etc. We can add more options to it, but we'd need to know what you guys want added first, since we don't have time to add config options for every single feature in the mod.
Hmm... I'm pretty sure that's being caused by incompatibility with one of the other mods you have installed, but I don't know for sure which. Werty will probably have a better idea than I will, but in the meantime try removing one mod at a time and re-generating the world, and you should be able to find out which one is causing the issue.

I have a GTX 760 so I assume its the world loading.
I have the minerology mod, which adds different layers of stone. Your mod is great, but I preffer that mod's underground generation instead. Can I disable this?

Not in the current version, no. We might add a config option for it in a future release, but it would make playing the mod VERY difficult, seeing as you need certain varieties of our stones for some of our tech blocks, and the only way you could get them if they didnt generate is via the rare, scattered boulder clusters -- which would probably get tedious fast. :/

I mean I can't use the latest.

Looks interesting and fun! Maybe I will hop on your server sometime.
Awesome look forward to seeing you on it!

I think we could make ice cream work

Yes, I found the mod that seems to be causing the conflict. Is this something you guys can fix or should I approach the other mod dev???
Worland chunk loading would be affected by the CPU
Which mod is it?
The mod causing the issue was Plant Mega Pack...
