I believe I have encountered a bug in the 1.7.10 version. It is not causing a crash, but when I go to my creative test world, I cannot find or in any way spawn a magic horse of any breed. Do you have any other mods loaded in your 1.7.10 Minecraft? It's possible there is some sort of conflict between another mod and the Ultimate Unicorn mod. Try running 1.7.10 with only the Ultimate Unicorn mod and see if that works. If it does, add in mods until you start seeing the bug again. Let me know which mod is having trouble with the Ultimate Unicorn mod, and I can see if I can reproduce the problem and fix it.
Cool Zebracorn! The Zebra is a secret mutant breed (i.e. "Ultimate Unicorn"). Is 679 a cheat code you used to make him? If so, feel free to post it in the comments on the Cheats page!
Just for clarification, though, the contest is over - all the current secret breeds have been found (and you can see them in this forum thread).

I have done as you suggested and found that the mod creating the conflict was the Clay Soldiers Mod, not a vital mod to my pack, so i will likely just remove it. Thank you for the help!

For those of you that were having entity name conflicts before, the new backup entity names and ability to modify entity names using the mod configuration screen should be helpful. Have.you had a chance to check it out?
Also, spawn chance is modifiable using the config screen (or directly in the config file).
Bug discovered: If a wand runs out of durability and breaks when equipped by an unridden unicorn (in its horn equipment slot), and the unridden unicorn tries to shoot a bad guy with it, the game will crash with a ConcurrentModificationException.
I have fixed the bug, and the fix will be available in the next release in a few days. Until then, don't equip a unicorn's horn with a wand, then dismount and let it run amok among the bad guys! (i.e if you put a wand on a unicorn horn, take it off before you dismount, or at least make sure no bad guys are around).

This looks like a bug in Forge, so I don't think there's a way I can change the mod's code to make this go away. I've had Minecraft crash after removing other mods as well.
I poked through the forge code, to see if there's a way to prevent it from happening. It looks to me like the crash is happening when Forge tries to load a Tile entity that no longer exists (because you took the mod out).
The only Tile entity I have in the game is the Magical Horse Chest. Did you add any of these to your world? If so, go delete them before trying to remove the mod. If that doesn't work, kill any magical horses you have that have a chest attached to them (and if that doesn't work, kill the ones that have anything in their inventory, too).
Another option you could try is to kill all the magical horses before trying to reload. You can do that with these commands:

Just found out, seems the TooMuchTNT Mod for 1.7.10 does not work with the Ultimate Unicorn Mod. It causes a crash on world load.
