Shadowmetal doesn't spawn at all if you have a terrain-gen changing mod installed. As a result, I cannot craft any shadowmetal-requiring things on the server I play on, thus I cannot craft Boots of the Voidwalker or Shadowmetal wand caps. LUCKILY the server owner is reasonable and might be willing to cheat in a stack of Shadow Ore, but still. What if you were in singleplayer and cheats were off? You would be outta luck!
That's why there's a config for a crucible recipe, right?

UPD: It seems doesn't like to be used in any crafting/enchanting inventory when enchanted and crashes client immediately.
UPD2: Nope, it crashes client even if it's not enchanted.
funny enough, this is *Azanor's* fault, iirc. I'm 90% sure the Void Fort armor is a pull from the code of the Void Fort armor before it became Thaumaturge's Robes.

Fabulous addon, yorke! In all honesty, this is my favourite Thaumcraft addon, even surpassing Thaumic Tinkerer in my list o' faves.
Anyway, I'm just going to suggest something. This one's big (ish), so it's in the spoiler:
Even though the Magic Croissant and the Croissant of Creation are very useful, I find that the fact it goes from bread to a magic croissant strange. Actually, perhaps the infusion of a normal croissant would make more sense. Perhaps the normal, mundane croissant would be made on a crafting bench like so:
It would restore 5 hunger points, which is the same as bread and the magic croissant.
The magic croissant could be made on an arcane workbench like this:
= Salis Mundus (get it? Thaumaturge's Salt?! (too bad it's not the thaumaturge's sugar...))
= Croissant
However, for the Croissant of Creation, an infusion might be a good idea. It requires:

1 croissant (being infused)
1 shard of creation (not used up)
3 salis mundus
Potentia x 32 (the speed and haste)
Sano x 16 (the regeneration)
Tutamen x 16 (the resistance)
Just a suggestion.
IMO nothing needs micro crafting unless it makes a large structure or can change slightly depending on what is used in its making. The shard is the cost here, and its not like the french moon shaped pastry is too OP for what it costs. Its a good alternitive too thaumic horizons shots.
I understand that its just a suggestion but about yhe bread, why does it use bread and not just 5 wheat?

I kind of see your point about the micro crafting. Changing recipes to include a croissant rather than 3 pieces of bread was just so that the infusion would work and that it didn't go from bread to a croissant, which I found strange. I thought that having to use a Shard of Creation, made from 2 Primordial Pearls and a Nether Star, was overpriced for its 1 minute effects, regen and full restoration of hunger (which can be easily achieved with a few cooked porkchops and some potions). That's why my suggestion doesn't use up the Shard of Creation, but does require essentia and salis mundus. That way, you don't have to use up that many rare and precious resources per 2 Croissants of Creation. I'm not saying the bread required for the recipes is expensive, I'm saying the other requirements are and I'm giving a suggestion to fix it and add in a stand-alone croissant, which makes sense.
I also thought that being able to access potion effects (i.e the Magic Croissant's short regen) with those early materials (bread and one of the six shards) was kind of OP. I mean, you have to travel to a nether fortress to collect nether wart and get a blaze rod before you can even start brewing useful potions. So I thought that buffing the requirements up to 4 salis mundus and a croissant would be a little fairer.
So no, If it were a suggestion about bread, I wouldn't have changed the recipes so dramatically. It's also about balance. That's just my opinion, though.

Personally I have to agree with you, these rebalances do seem a bit fairer.

Yes, It is strange how it goes from bread to a croissant. I think I might change that.

Yeah. It is hard to make for what it is. But, remember the saturation value. It gives the player 250 saturation. (about)
Rin refers to Rin Okumura, the main character of a manga, and then anime, Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist). I'm pretty sure that Rin is yorke's avatar, right? Anyway, he wields a blue flaming katana. That would be... interesting in Minecraft.

Wait, there is?!
Well now I know what to bug Renadi for
However, that's still a good point; if CoFHCore is installed, you should register your ore with it, Yorke.
Agreed, or perhaps make a version that spawns in the End, or maybe make Shadow Ore a dungeon loot, or something.
No, CoFHCore will make it generate regardless of alternate WG.
Got crash when tried to add Souldbound enchantment to Void fortress armor (Enchanted) in Vanilla anvil.

Sweet!
I have found a loophole in the void fort armor bug: use nei to enchant (press p in inventory)

I'll do that, taking a break from modding ATM. And I'm planning for an end version nonetheless.
But I'm taking a short modding break.
Development is gonna start up again soon. Can't wait to add more stuff
