i'm sure you could make them wearable, but i think you'd need to turn them into an armor for that, also i think the only way to make them wearable in 1.8 is with commands
But I'm not sure if it's possible to do it with mobs without a coremod. I'll have a look when I can.
It makes sense that helmets would be transparent on mobs as well as on players, after all, it's the same helmet, it should look the same regardless of who's wearing it, right? =P
As long as the AI isn't too different from 1.7.10 mobs gany will easily implement them, otherwise we will probably need somebody else to mess with code for him.

depends on if its going to be passive or aggressive. if its passive he could just use the sheep ai if its aggressive maybe the wolf ai
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
I too was horrified to see this. I had much higher thoughts of Gany.
I think Gany should adopt the Galacticraft's method to replace vanilla blocks/item with others of its own.
For example, the Galacticraft developer wanted vanilla torches to go out if placed in space dimensions. He then created another torch, with the same look as vanilla's but with no crafting recipe, that allowed the desired behavior. Whenever the player is in a space dimension and selects a vanilla torch in the inventory, the mod will then replace the vanilla torches with Galacticraft ones. If placed, the torch will look exactly like the vanilla counterpart except it will not emit any light or render flame particles.

i believe the 1.7.10 version of this is dead so we will prob have to wait for a 1.8 or 1.9 version

thats what he stated on twitter
ah, okay.

I wonder if he'll do any bug fixes for the 1.7.10 version, that end water glitch is really bugging me.
I believe that anyone is able to branch and maintain the 1.7.10 version, if anyone is able and willing to do so at least.
I hope there's still potential for the 1.7.10, because I've found what seems to be a rather big oversight:
Seems that the Oak Fence Gate has been removed! Anyone else notice this?
EDIT: My bad, seems the problem is different. The gate is simply nonexistent in the creative menu. Still accessible with /give and crafting.
Remember: You are unique... Just like everyone else
A wise man once told me, "Coding is 1% writing code and 99% figuring out why it didn't work."
May I ask if igloos have been added in the meantime?
not that im aware of
Wow, this is awesome! I've been looking for this and then I just stumble upon it!
Please tell me that this is not accurate.
Or, please tell me that you're getting a new version of Et Futurum released real soon now.
... Just imagine using this with forestry, where every wood block or leaf is a (non ticking) tile entity
Or any tech-mod base where every machine block is a tile entity to store state information.
