Inside your minecraft folder there will be a folder called "config" where all the mod's config files stay
You could also use the config screen from inside minecraft (which is a lot easier if you ask me...)
On the main menu, click the "Mods" button, find Et Futurum on the list and click on it, then click on the button that says "Config" that will light up, and it will list all the configs for it and allow you to change them Keep in mind that after you change the configs you'll need to restart minecraft in order for them to take effect.
If I already have Gany's Surface, Gany's Nether and Gany's End, is there any benefit on using or switching to this one or its not useful because everything is still in Gany's Surface.[/p]

Nope! This is just if you don't like Gany's Surface but still want to play with the 1.8 stuff (and can't be bothered to mess with config files =P)
The slime blocks don't act right. I always bounce 4 1/2 blocks when I get on it, regardless of how long my fall was, and I don't lose any momentum. I'm always bouncing. Also, when I walk from the floor onto a slime block, I sink into the floor, suffocate and die. If I try to fly out of being stuck, I cannot move horizontally at all, and when I log out of the world and back in, the world becomes corrupt, causing the world to crash my game. When I do get my game to launch that world... Odd stuff happens, look at the attachment's X and Z coords. Also, where are guardians?
will you also be adding 1.9 things were possible (such as the leviation and end addons?
I'll add everything from 1.9 as I can.
But no promises beyond decoration blocks since the minecraft internals could change a lot which could make it a lot harder to backport some features (dual wielding you can bet I won't be porting).
Does this happen to backport the Alex? player model and 64x64 skin layout? I'm really excited about the prospect of updating my skin to work with the 1.8 features but I love my modded Minecraft experience too much to update until most of my must haves are updated for 1.8.

I tried a couple of different approaches but they've all failed... I'll try again but no promises
Mobs don't seem to recognise the new gates as obstacles, and keep jumping up against them;
I have the setting for the new enchanting table mechanics off, yet it still visually shows the 1.8 enchanting table UI (it still works as the pre-1.8 system though, with the "real" slot between the two visual, 1.8 slots);
And I don't know whose end this is on so I may make a post in the other thread, but Witchery's hobgoblins don't seem to recognise your doors. I haven't been able to test them with villagers yet (to be fair I don't really know how villagers and doors work), but I could imagine the villagers working but not the hobgoblins if the hobgoblins are looking specifically for the vanilla door blocks. I can understand if nothing can be done on your or either end about this though
Mostly little things, but thought I'd let you know! Loving having almost all the great new things in 1.8 with my already established mods!
Hey my friend!
Ths mod is totally crashing server with Twilight forest!
Please add an option to disable world-gen in specific dimension to fix this fast, and check the error later on - please.

I removed your mod and everything with chunk-generation in TF is working normally again.
Hm, Gany's Surface should only be generating in the surface... I shall fix this
Thanks for letting me know.
any ETA? i either destroy the twilight or my normal world
Uploaded it to Curse. It should be out soon.

Where is the config file located, sorry?

Thank you very much!
gany did you remove some of these features from your surface mod?

I don't think EVERYTHING has been ported to the three gany's mods yet (don't quote me I haven't looked at changelogs in a while)

Still playing 1.7.10? Download Et Futurum Requiem for highly configurable backported content!
Update to fix a pesky server crash!
Make sure you grab it!

Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait until most of the really cool mods start updating to 1.8 or 1.9 then.
Some small issues I've noticed:
Mobs don't seem to recognise the new gates as obstacles, and keep jumping up against them;
I have the setting for the new enchanting table mechanics off, yet it still visually shows the 1.8 enchanting table UI (it still works as the pre-1.8 system though, with the "real" slot between the two visual, 1.8 slots);
