Okay, version 1.1.1 is on its way with a fix, should only take a few minutes for it to upload to curse and get approved
Love this mod, really simple idea that has a lot of aesthetics.
One thing i would like to ask, when a player gets curses. Is there any way to completely remove them from a player?
If you dislike the idea of curses you can disable them in the config. Or if you want them on, you can use the command "/jw setCursePoints [yourUserName] 0" to set the curse points of your character to 0, stopping curses from working. Or if you want to disable them just for the moment, if you go into creative mode and press 'C' to open the curses menu there are some instructions on how to activate/deactivate curses through the gui.
This is the only way to do it as of yet. In the future there will be ways of removing curses in regular survival.
Server works now, although I don't have my usual testing buddy so I can't check syncing yet. The interfaces look really slick and the fact that the book remembers the page you left off on is very convenient and convenience is rather nice if I do say so myself. I do really enjoy the book! I haven't had to look up anything out of game and that is a feat I love to see in mods. I also found out I built the ritual structure too short and got to experience it for the first time in single player, and I do say it was really epic. On a server however turning it on gave me this crash:

You are using version 1.1.0, I have since then released version 1.1.1 and the latest 1.1.2 which fix all those issues. If they persist please let me know.
I've noticed an issue with the hearts that drops. When you kill it drops theTh mob drops but if you pick it up you lose out on the drops.

We still don't know if it was if she'd hit me accidentally. The other thing is curses. Removing them isn't possible as i saw, but some of them are so frustrating, I hack the playerdata. Not fun.

Yeah, I have a plan to add a config option to disable black hearts from damaging passive mobs or players. Also, in the latest version there are config options to disable curses (either all or just some of them). Clothing is something that sounds like fun and I will definitely look into it

You are using version 1.1.0, I have since then released version 1.1.1 and the latest 1.1.2 which fix all those issues. If they persist please let me know.

I've noticed an issue with the hearts that drops. When you kill it drops the mob drops but if you pick it up you lose out on the drops.
That's....interesting. It shouldn't be doing that and there is definitely no code to tell it to do that o.o Are you sure it isn't another mod doing that?

I tested it without other mods and it seems that it sometimes drop from the hearts while other times it drops from the mob itself. I guess not as bad as i thought but still weird.

I like your mod, but is it possible that your black heart kills other player? My girlfriend and I went to kill some zombies, when she died, because a "black heart". We still don't know if it was if she'd hit me accidentally. The other thing is curses. Removing them isn't possible as i saw, but some of them are so frustrating, I hack the playerdata. Not fun.
If you want to add more features, you'd may think about clothing. Minecraft is lack of cool clothes.

We don't know if Jewelrycraft's black heart killed her. If it so, then it's annoying a bit. Some slash no problem, but be killed by accidents is just annoying.
I don't want to die again and again until I get good curse. I want to rid that.
Yeah, I have a plan to add a config option to disable black hearts from damaging passive mobs or players. Also, in the latest version there are config options to disable curses (either all or just some of them). Clothing is something that sounds like fun and I will definitely look into it
