The drop rate and max amount of hearts a player can obtain are configurable as well. Heart Fragment drops can be disabled as well if desired.

Hm, I don't see why it wouldn't work on SMP, though I haven't tested that yet. I'll look into that.
*Edit: I just ran a quick Forge 10.13.2.1291 server. The config loads and the mod works fine for me(Although, the Eating animation didn't render. Time to fix that). Are you sure Forge was running?
I wouldn't mind if you spread the word, as long as you don't re-upload the mod and instead provide a link to either this forum page or the Curse page. Also make sure to leave appropriate credit.

1. That seems redundant to add another heart with the same effect as two of the Hearts that are already implemented.
2. That same effect can be achieved by editing the "playerMaxHealth" config

When I sign in to the server, there's no sign of any hearts or heart fragments in the creative inventory, and signing into the server without the mod installed doesn't cause any mod rejection errors, so it appears to be ignoring it on launch
View all the downloads and grab the 1.7.10 version.

if i use the heart canister from tinker contruc and then i eat a heart from this mod i gain more than 1 heart, if i got the 30 hearts from tc and if i eat a heart from this mod i would gain like 30+ hearts,

Given that I don't have enough time to look it over at the moment and fix another few issues, I'm pushing the mod to GitHub.
I've been considering this for a while now, so if anyone else has the time and would like to submit any commits to the mod, I'll take a look at it and push it for later version releases.

I've noticed that when ever you go to the nether your hearts earned
go back down to 10 full hearts instead of keeping the amount of hearts
you had before entering the nether. But after I eat food the hearts go
back to full again. It feels like it is a bug.
I've also noticed that when you eat a full heart the health bar goes up by at least 10 hearts instead of one.

Configurable Health allows you to set the player's and most mob's max health and starting health via a configuration file.
For example, a player config of:
