Ok following up on this. Looks like whatever modpack you are using ran out of global entityIDs (mostly because of OreSpawn, but there are a few other culprits in there). At any rate, we've changed our paltry three entities to use mod-contextual IDs (instead of global), so there will be no conflicts. We've checked it against OreSpawn and JurassicCraft and it works fine. Update out soon.

Please do not continually bug the mod author, and place some thought into your posts. One rule of this forum is:
Do not ask, demand or pressure creators to update content, this includes asking if/when there will be an update, and applies well for downgrades
PS: There will be better textures, right? Because I believe that the main reason why people didn't like CreepTech was because of its textures. Remember, don't judge a book by its cover!
Actually, the only thing that really bugged me about creeptech was simply how annoying the Quantum invasion sounded.Everything else was fine. Guess that's just me though.
The creeptech textures look a heck of a lot better than anything out of thermal expansion has ever looked, albeit a tad off from minecraft's own texture design.
Pets i feel need a nerf or just an option to remove ability is:
Creeper explosion (can be spammed fast, a cooldown between shots should be enough)
Ghasts fireball (can be spammed fast, a cooldown between shots should be enough)
Brewing stand random potion creating (i think this pet should be redone to a portable brewing stand personally.)
Quantum crystal monster minion spawning (The minion spawning is just too crazy lol. Maybe add a cap on spawns)
Black hole (Perfect for modded singleplayer, not exactly multiplayer though)
Cloud flight and lightening (fly + smite = god i dont need to explain this. Should be one or the other, not both)
---
Anyways thanks man. I have a cauldron server so i have all the anti grief things in check. Just need to balance the experience. This is truly a great mod and all my players love it. keep up the good work

Thanks, Jspy1. Yeah that's the Quantum Crystal Monster pet. Are there other mods in your environment? Anything that messes with Rendering (like Morph or OptiFine or anything like that). Trying to narrow it down since we can't reproduce...

Ok, thanks for the suggestions. Creeper, QCM minions, and Cloud are now 'nerfable' in the config. Since the others are one-trick ponies, you can just disable them entirely. A portable brewing stand is probably not in the cards anytime soon.
Also nerfable in the config will be Enderman's Auto-Teleport to Safety, Spider Jump, Squid Speed Boost, and a few others from the new pets.
On a more serious note - I don't use a lot of mods (most of them make everything look and act ridiculous ), so I don't know if this has been intentional or is because of a specific mod, but this is regarding the Bed Pet. Watched a TDM episode yesterday and he used the Bed pet in the Candy dimension (from the CandyCraft mod). The Bed pet consumed the wool he had, but the night cycle didn't change - it was still night no matter how many times he used the pet. It very well could be that it's because of the CandyCraft itself, because it seems that the night cycle is shorter there anyways. But maybe it's worth testing it out in other dimensions.
Bloobeary... we finally found the problem here. CandyCraft was killing the time reset event in the background (not sure why). We found a workaround that ties into the world server (instead of through the player) and now works in other modded dimensions with custom daylight cycles as well. Thanks again for calling this one out.

Hey FireDragon798 -
It's going to be a few days still, probably this weekend, but still hard to say. The good news is that we're in test and fix mode. These things take time, as we have to test all the pets, all the abilities, how they work with each other, with other mods, with modpacks, and on then all over again in a server environment. Then, if we find a bug and have to fix it, we go back and test again. It's really the only way to be sure. Our original launch in April had a few bugs (cough, cough), we're trying to avoid that pain this time around.

One of the long outstanding features yet to be implemented is Custom Pets. The basic idea here is that you will be able to choose abilities (via the config) for a Custom Pet, and then use one of four sample textures (which you can modify) to make your own completely Custom Inventory Pet. You'll even be able to name it.
Each Custom Pet would be limited to 3 abilities, and you would choose from a list of say, 20 abilities (mostly existing, but some new), in total.
The question: Is this something that you would be excited about, or is it just an ok idea?
To make it easy, give a Like if you like it and feel free to add comments/suggestions below. This won't go into this weekend's release. Just doing a bit of planning for the future and see if people are interested.

For the abilities, I would suggesting being able to choose potion effects that you receive upon holding a pet (similar to how Chicken gives you potion effect Speed IV); it could be customized by doing "<potion id>,<magnitude>." This would allow you to use potion effects from other mods too.
I'll be assuming that pet creation will be done doing json files (that's how the majority of custom items are created in other mods) but if possible, if possible, it would be nice to have an in game creator that auto-creates the pet for you (in other words, a GUI) where you can choose effects from a drop-down box and be able to change the texture in game (there was a mod that allowed you to make custom blocks in game, MinePainter, I think?). That way, it would be more user friendly.
I noticed that you said nerfable in the config, and I'd just like to thank you for that. I'm fine with the pets as they are and was worried for a second that you'd permanently nerf them!

That sounds like a tagline to some kind of minecraft horror movie.
Not sure exactly what you mean. Which pets are you using? What mobs are you hearing? Something from another mod?
Or... are you using the Quantum Crystal Monster pet in peaceful mode?
the one where you summon the minions
i can't see them either

Allowing moderators with minimal server experience to moderate server threads misrepresents the forum to our members.
i really like it too
You added a banana pet aand not an apple pet I like bananas too though.
I saw strange things in my life. Like mirors.

Gentle reminder that the forum rules you've agreed to technically say that you're never supposed to demand updates from modders. Ever.
