Loving the mod and its weapons/android System, but was wondering what's up with the Phasers since the latest major update. They fire for about a half-second, and then stop, and refuse to fire again. Am I needing to do something new to reload them?
Also, is it possible to perhace get a Buildcraft-type Blueprint for a sample Matter decomposion and reassembly? Either that or a tutorial with signs or something?

The Phaser and Phaser Rifle can get overheated if they are fired continuously for too long. They also require power if you haven't notice that. You can also have Energy Packs in your inventory. Then the Phaser and Rifle will automatically reload. I plan on making cooling upgrades.

I was in Creative Mode, and they had a Creative Battery. Does that help?
I'm starting to feel like a real bother since I am seemingly the only one getting all these weird crashes, but I ran into another issue with the newest hotfix.
Now it doesn't crash, but once it gets to the matter calculation simply hangs, specifically during matter fuel calculation.

I killed minecraft after waiting nearly 20 minutes for it to finish.
Sorry in advance, and I can totally understand if you'd want to wait until the next feature release before fixing my specific issues. Lol.
I actually removed Fuel Calculation. That means your problem is fixed. The problem is that i don't want to release any more hotfixes :D. If you want you can always check thelatest Jenkins builds
I'm also having trouble with my phaser. Its heat level seems stuck at infinity percent and it's been hours since I fired it last. It has about a million RF in the battery, so that's not the issue. What do?
How can I change back into a human? The 'glitch' effect when taking damage is just too much for me to deal with, especially when i'm being damaged frequently in a short amount of time (like from being lit on fire). Not being able to control my swimming and not being able to enjoy beneficial potion effects is just ice on the cake.

You need the blue pill item, which you can only get by creatively spawning it in.
I hope the mod maker eventually makes the damage effect and swimming things negatable through the upgrade system -- or maybe those are a fair tradeoff for most people.

Had the same issue. Crafting a new phaser (or cheat a new one in and throw the old in lava) solved it for me.
Old phaser was "stuck/broken" somehow - like yours.
This may have been addressed and i missed it. For some reason my Fusion reactor creates sand blocks around it. are there any fixes for this?
The sand blocks are not created. Falling Sand is attracted towards the anomaly.
it may be an isolated bug. i took the red pill by the reactor and it did alot of crazy things. i am loving this mod btw

You need the blue pill item, which you can only get by creatively spawning it in.
You can also get both types of pill as dungeon loot, I think.

Really like this mod so far, been having fun with the star map, how are you supposed to get buildings and ships for your planets?
Also since you are doing integration with ComputerCraft can you also do OpenComputers?

Buildings and ships aren't fully implemented yet.
Anything compatible with ComputerCraft is also compatible with OpenComputers.
