Infernal mobs is rough, yeah. I had an infernal plesiousaur, tamed mind you, that was ghastly. So there's this little tiny flippered dino swimming about throwing fireballs underwater at me whenever I wanted to feed it. Maybe a good thing to try and sort out w/ a future update if possible is to code the neutral ones neutral (like pigmen).

It's the same basic group, just a new account.

well um so this update was nice but I do have some notes on it that are kinda disappointing the sarchosuchus has some problems with swimming, The pterosaur though nice in the way it flies can no longer be piloted by a person so that is kinda sad , the kelenken still cannot be ridden, and there are a lot of bugs regarding dinosaurs growing wrong so I guess you guys got your work cut out for you. So Let's see you guys amaze us with what you do next

Pteranodon became teeny. Why would it be piloted in the 1st place?

There are probably plans for a bigger flying creatures then the Pteranodon to
be piloted later on, like lets say Pelagornis Sandersi or Argentavis
Magnificens. Those are both big enough to carry a fully grown adult human without
issue and you could feed live cows to the Argentavis for the heck of it... or maybe it's just me that would do that xD

First of all Pteranodon will never ever be able to ridden because its small to hold a grown man and at least they finally got a update out to all of us. Be happy man

I eagely await the possible giraffe-bird-lizards and/or other large pterosaurs.

Yeah I'm guessing Quetz is coming in at some point... and lord knows what other awesome beasts they have planed

Well NOW it is too small to carry someone, lol. I think people are more commenting on the fact that we used to be able to fly on these things and with the update's name some, myself included, probably initially thought that the ability had been restored.

I barely even care what was included in this update though because I am just excited to read the OP and see that they have made some additions to the core team that may allow for more development on the mod going forward! Super excited to see where it goes! (Prays for parasaurolophus! XD)

Hello, everyone! It's been a long time =)

I just want to ask all admin about the possibility of setting up World Edit to give the Fossils server users the ability to save their creations to .schematic files, which they can then download. I ask because I am currently investing a lot of time and effort in building a site for the base of a series on my Youtube channel, in which I wanted to get many people involved, but the idea that it will all be simply wiped out is very discouraging.

I spoke briefly to Robberto in-game, who I understand is now in charge, and he said it would be "just too much work" to set this up. o.O

I just don't see how. World Edit is already installed on the server. Surely some settings could be tweaked easily enough to give users limited permissions in order to save builds. I used to do it on the MineSquish server, where we only had permission to //save, once we had demarcated the area we wanted. The .schematic was then saved and the URL was given for download. One unique URL per player was available so you couldn't save multiple builds and take up loads of space on the server. Whenever you saved something, it over-wrote whatever you had saved before, if anything.

Please guys... Set this up! =) It would be something really worth it for the future. Otherwise it's just not worth it for me to continue on the server.

Well, just added this mod to my map! Nice to have something mid sized for the "Bird cage."
