im really curious what fps you got? and the differences?
(Also if you're curious why im doing this, my gpu is pretty weak. But it can run CaptTatsu's High Shader in 30 fps, but i got like 70 fps with ChoCapic13's 5v lite shader, and usually chocapic13 add a lots of elements, so im curious what your gpu can do?)

Only one thing I was running my edit (edited with the dr dreads's shaders configurator) of the MEDIUM 3.6
the black dot (see the white wool). it rarely appears, but it's quite disturbing. pm me if you can fix.

I get a weird visual bug with beacon beams with all shaders I use. Also chests and playernames get same static appearance sometime too. Cant find any solutions online so far. D:

currently i'm reworking the bloom, from box blur bloom to gaussian blur bloom.

I don't directly copy Sonic Ether's code to my shader. Instead, i only use Sonic Ether's code as refrence, and write my own code.
I might want to release preview 3 soon. Here's the screenshot to compare v43p3 with v42. v43 will have (some kind of) different atmosphere from v42 in the day.

I'm currently making a cinematic for your shader. I was hoping that you would put it on your page. It shouldn't be laggy with my GC. Ill post a link when I get it done for you to review if its good enough to put up
The v5 is awesome but very laggy (about 10 fps... :-/) so can you do a v5 lite and review the performaces ?
ps : I love the new bloom !
i'm sorry about the performance drop. you might want to disable the bloom for performance gain. i'll try to see if there's more i can do with the performance

anyway, optifine 1.8.9 H0 is released with shader profiles, and i intergrated with it. now, there are 4 profiles : low, cel, standard and ultra. you need to redownload v5 (updated) to change the profiles. also, fixed cel shading code.
I like the aesthetic of your shaders. Maybe more to the point, they look natural and don't put weird Instagrammish color tints on everything. Also they perform pretty well especially with EAO and SSAO and blur turned off.
I think I like 4.2 best just because you can have v2 and v3 clouds turned on at the same time, which gives 2 cloud layers for a nice look. The only visual downside is that the bloom applied to bright water reflections can be waaaay too bright.

my gpu is Nvidia geforce 800m.
you already can download the preview in the beta folder (in the download link)
i'll try to contact others and see if we can fix it or not.
i just realised it forgot to put v43 p1 to the folder, sorry ._.
anyway, newest optifine gives shader settings and i adjusted the variable names.
v43 p2 don't have much change except gloss fix and name change.

I prefer the 3.6 version because it is more beautiful I love the high contrast effect on the border of the blocks...

I absolutely love the look of this shader. Everything looks perfect to me.
Hey, could you add distance blur from chocapic back into this shaderpack? Also I have a problem with DOF where I see horizontal lines on the ground.

for the dof bug, it occurs to me too only with my amd, not with my nvidia. i'll look this later
