if you don't mind with (much) less options, v6.0.0b might be good for you, since you simply get free fps while the quality is more or less the same in standard profile. high fps in first time load is obvious since there's not much to render, and i can't really help with same fps even the settings are toned down since everyone's pc are different.

One other request, if possible, since I tried the "Hardcore Darkness" mod (without shaders), would it be possible to add an option to the shaders to do something similar? It's something like, ambient light is basically zero, so nighttime for example, is pitch black unless you have a torch set, or are carrying one with dynamic lights enabled. I find nighttime to be really bright, even with the nighttime light set to 0.25.

my guess is you're running karyonix's shadersmod. v6 series requires latest version of optifine to run, since shadersmod is implemented and extended in optifine. so, try to remove the old shadermod and install the latest version of optifine (d8).
When I remove the shader mod though I dont get the "shaders" option when I hit Esc But I did check my optifine and it turns out I was a couple versions behind. But are you saying I dont need the shader mod at all? If so how do I get to see the shader option/menu in game?
Edit: I crashed when I updated optifine with the shader mod still installed, so I took out the shader mod- and I still crashed. Here's the log

-you can increase hand speed by editing gbuffers_hand.vsh inside the zip. go to line 17 and 18 and multiply the frametime by some value inside the bracket for speed. if you need larger wave, change the multiplier outside the bracket. example : ...= sin(frametime*4)*0.1.
-bloom effect does exist underwater. maybe you want to try fog blur.
This pack become my new favorite mostly because of the sky and it is highly configurable, however I would like to get the colors of the leaves look like without shaders and I cant get it, I tried messing with colors and contrast but still no. If anyone could help me that would be great.

yep, i got nothing from the log. by the way, what minecraft and optifine version do you use?
I'm running Forge 2387 and OptiFine_1.12_HD_U_C4.
Yeah, I was pretty confused by how much information was NOT in that log, compared to other ones I've seen posted. I just logged into my game saw the errors, and back out. I don't know if it's at all useful to play for a bit.

Do you have a non AdFly link? Adblock causes it's anti-adblock, skippers don't work, and disabling adblockers always redirects me to malware.
Love these shaders! However version 6 (tried them all) gives me errors and makes my entire world black when i try to use them. I'm on 1.7.10 btw, could that be why?

So I'm using version 5, still dunno whats up with 6, and I would like to fix it still, but I dont even mind that much now. My magical fantasy survival world is now even more magical and beautiful than ever before. I- I have no words. my guess is you're running karyonix's shadersmod. v6 series requires latest version of optifine to run, since shadersmod is implemented and extended in optifine. so, try to remove the old shadermod and install the latest version of optifine (d8).
When I remove the shader mod though I dont get the "shaders" option when I hit Esc But I did check my optifine and it turns out I was a couple versions behind. But are you saying I dont need the shader mod at all? If so how do I get to see the shader option/menu in game?
Edit: I crashed when I updated optifine with the shader mod still installed, so I took out the shader mod- and I still crashed. Here's the log

i don't really read crash logs, but my guess is you're using the wrong version of forge. d8 is compatible with forge #1614 (source)
Ah that explains it, I think I'm using the recommended version of forge for 1.7. I'll update, thanks for your help!

Is there a setting to make raindrops visible? It looks like I get all the fog and splash effects, but I don't actually see the rain.

might be your minecraft settings, make sure to turn on weather. might be the shader option too. check in world > weather
go to shader option, visual > enable resource pack support.

There's a "Skip Ad" link in the top right. That's what you click to get to the file. Adfly is creepy, but there aren't that many ways for creators to make money for all their work.
Is it possible to upload this on a non-adfly site? Adfly has all kinds of shady ads that keep trying to hijack my browser.

-i don't know why the motion blur bugs there. make sure to use the latest driver.
-i'm can't really accept some your suggestion right now, but i'll comment at some of them.
-heatwave is possible with bloom based method
-water puddle is available in v53 and i'm not interested to add it in future versions
-you can increase hand speed by editing gbuffers_hand.vsh inside the zip. go to line 17 and 18 and multiply the frametime by some value inside the bracket for speed. if you need larger wave, change the multiplier outside the bracket. example : ...= sin(frametime*4)*0.1.
-bloom effect does exist underwater. maybe you want to try fog blur.
go to gbuffers_terrain.vsh. find this line, and remove it : if (mc_Entity.x == 18.0 || mc_Entity.x == 161.0 || mc_Entity.x == 106.0) brmult = 0.4;

I tried out v53, and it seems to have trouble in the Nether? I was seeing weird light rays and glowing where there should be walls.
As usual, it could just be me.
