Cookies And Cream adds several new tools, weapons, a few blocks, Easter eggs, and other items to Minecraft. It aims to build on the current vanilla without making the game too easy, hard, or different. Why the name? Think about how unmodded Minecraft is called vanilla. Now think about hugely modded minecraft as chocolate, the opposite of vanilla. Cookies And Cream is an ice cream flavor with little chunks of chocolate in vanilla ice cream. Why did I make this a food analogy? Who knows?
NOTICE: Updating to 1.8 is very hard. I can't do as much as in 1.7, such as rendering armor or having instant structure blocks. It turns out that for 1.8 each item has to have its own JSON file, which will be a huge burden. 1.8 support might take a while, and while that happens, I won't be able to create anything new. For now, have fun in 1.7. I will keep the 1.7 download up. EDIT: I'm going to keep developing in 1.7 for now. I'll wait until 1.8 is better "Charted", or 1.9 comes out.
Pictures (To see pics more clearly, just drag into a new tab. For some reason, they are very blurry):
Knife Tiers from left to right (How you read). The knife is a nice multitool between a shovel and somewhat an axe that stacks to 2. It is also good at destroying contraptions. You must create a knife blade, add a handle of a stick or iron rod, and then add a piece of flint to sharpen it. It has the damage between a pickaxe and axe. You can not block with a knife, though. See the recipes section for more information.
Maul tiers from left to right. The maul is another cool multitool. It can mine stone and ores like a pickaxe, but does so slowly. The tiers are harder for mining with a maul, too. (Example: You need a stone maul to mine coal). It is great for cutting wood, too. It has the damage between an axe and sword.
An Instant House Block. This particular one is made of brick, but there is one that is wooden, too. The Brick house has the most useful blocks and rarer blocks, in my opinion. The wooden house only has a few basics, and is designed for starters.
The armor tiers, from left to right obsidian, flame, emerald, steel, and Hard wood.
This is part of the creative tab. It has everything added by this mod.

For reference, here are the vanilla stats for diamond:
Diamond:Level 3 harvest, 1561 durability, 8 strength against blocks, 3.0 base damage against entities (Sword does 7 damage or 3.5 hearts), 10 enchantibility.
Obsidian Tools: Level 4 harvest level, 2015 Durability, 12 strength against blocks, 5.0 base damage against entities (Sword does 9 damage or 4.5 hearts), 8 enchantibility.
Flame: 4 harvest level, 1561 durability, 15 strength against blocks, 6.0 base damage against entities (Sword does 10 damage or 5 hearts), 22 enchantibility.
Emerald: Level 3 harvest, 1200 durability, 10.0 strength against blocks, 4.0 base damage against entities (Sword does 8 damage or 4 hearts), 20 enchantibility.
To conserve on pictures, I'll make models.
New Iron Rod is a tool handle like a stick, but it serves for higher tiered items (Steel+) or Steel, Diamond, Emerald (Soon), Obsidian, and Flame.
The rest just use a stick. An iron rod is crafted like this:
1=Iron Ingot 0=nothing
010
010 (Make sure it is exactly like that in the crafting table).
000
Maul: 1=Iron rod (For tier steel and up)or stick (Under that) 2=Material Maul will be made of.
212
21
1
For Flame, 2=flames.
For Obsidian, 2=Obsidian Block
For Emerald, 2=Emerald (Item)
For Diamond, 2= Diamond Gem
For Gold, 2=Gold Ingot
For Steel, 2= Steel Ingot
For Iron, 2= Iron ingot
For Pure Stone, 2=Stone Block
For Stone (Normal), 2=Cobblestone Block
For Hard Wood, 2=Hard Wood.
For Wood, 2=Wood Planks.
For Dirt, 2= Dirt.
Changelog:
1.2:
More bug fixes, added several recipes to items that didn't have any. Added two entities: Raven and Phantom. Phantom is hostile and tricky, spawns in the nether and extreme overworld biomes. Raven is passive and spawns in forests and plains. Added ravenium sword and pickaxe: Ravens drop black feathers, which are smelted into goo, and 9 goo makes a ravenium ingot. These recipes use iron rods (Pick and Sword). Added a steel bow, can't figure out how to get the texture working, though. Steel bows are crafted like a normal bow, but the sticks are replaced with steel. They can't be held as long as a wooden bow, but are much more durable. Added super ice cream, which heals all hunger points. Also added a healing sword, which does one damage but gives peaceful mobs a very high regeneration level. Added a steel fishing rod, which does absolutely nothing.
1.1:
Bug fixes, most notably the recipe one.
Future Plans:
Upgrade to 1.8 (Or 1.9, when it comes out) Make custom tool types less buggy. Add ores and world gen for more tool tiers and exploration. Add bone, flint, and other tool tiers. Fix texture problem with steel bow, add functionality for steel fishing rod. Suggestions? Just comment. Recipes: Coming soon.

Comments? Questions? Bugs? (Hopefully not :))
Noticed a weird bug: It crashes when I try to make my armor in the crafting table. I'm not entirely sure of the cause yet, but I'll try to fix it.
Fixed it! Silly me. My recipes were put before the armor in my main file, so the armor didn't know what it was. I'll release Version 1.1 for this.
