Hello, I love this mod! I saw a few posts back on how people wanted to change the textures. I can do this, and but them on a medafire/dropbox link for you.
Could you also add caves to the mining world? It seems bland without them. (And maybe in those caves extra monsters, to make extra resources harder )
Thanks for your offer, but the default textures will be used for now.
I realize the mining worlds are a bit bland, but not having caves means there are no mobs below ground which consumes server resources. Typically, the mining world is not meant to "live" in, but rather provide a convenient terrain for running quarries.
Tried this mod out, it was working fine until I placed a bed in the void dimension. It promptly exploded when I tried to sleep in it, setting my house on fire and killing me. Is this intentional, or could it be a glitch?

I think this is how Minecraft prevents players from setting the spawn point in a dimension that doesn't allow respawn.
Not allowing respawn was something I intentionally set to prevent people from getting stuck in a dimension if the return portal block was destroyed, but it should be changed in the next version (no ETA).

Looking forward to those changes and possible additional configs. I wish the Void dimension functioned more like a Skyblock dimension personally or had optional configs to allow this (possibly another portal type that allowed this would be better). I can see the benefits of the Void dimension remaining as is for the space mods that exist (with the exception of the beds). The mining dimension would benefit from optional configs for beds, daylight cycle, and cave gen all disabled by default. All the dimensions would benefit from a hard linking option you mentioned earlier;
I might add some admin/op way to forcibly set the target dimension of an unused portal block, so that it doesn't create a new dimension but rather links to a specific existing one. It might take a while before that gets added though.
I have since switched to a localized server instead of LAN so I wasn't able to get those logs for the disconnects but I have seen the server disconnects upon player entry after Utility portals have been placed. The most recent event is here in the server log;

Unfortunately, I restarted the server so we could enter and I don't have the appropriate fml log that corresponds and can't seem to find it in the other 3 fml logs. I will try to make a mental note for the next occurrence. Thanks for your work and effort.
The mod has been ported to 1.8.9 and 1.9.4. The latest version (1.0.9) fixes a problem with incorrect respawn location in the Void World, and a Waila tool tip related issue (not caused by Waila).
