1.7.10 Alpha Version with 99.9% less memory leaks should be out within the next few days. If it's stable enough it will be marked as a safe to use release then 1.8 development begins.
Awesome, thanks for your work dem! Really looking forward to it, especially 1.8....
Ok so this mod is more stable than the regular archimedes ships. So should I upgrade to this and if I do will all my stuff I built with theold mod disappear?

Due to the nature of forge unfortunately I can't have the same block ids if my mod id is different. And this mod has a different id as it has different features and writes information differently.
And make sure they're assembled. I'm trying to think of a way to at least transfer non assembled ships, but it wouldn't transfer data like ship names or rotation of helms. It would just replace all of the blocks with the new ones.
Has this mod been updated to 1.8 (2014)? And how do we download it?
Thanks
If you read the post 9 before yours then you'll see that it says there will be another 1.7.10 update then darkevilmac will work on the 1.8 version. We still need to wait.
So will there be propellers in the future update/fix also I have notice something with old Archimedes mod that when you reach a certain speed in multiplayer the passenger will drop out is has that been fixed I haven't gotten a chance to test it out yet with the plus mod.
I want to build a flying DeLorean with this mod, but it will look quite silly with a bunch of balloon blocks holding it up ... are there any plans to add some kind of lift engine that you can use instead of balloons, but uses fuel? It would be amazing if it used RF from Thermal Expansion, so I could actually have it run on a Flux Capacitor. XP

You could edit config to reduce the amount of balloons required, so a single block would be able of lifting your ship.
I don't want to change config files for the sake of a single build; that feels like cheating. But yes! I forget that you can dye the balloons. Gray ones should look enough like stainless steel for my purposes.
Is this a bug everyone experiences because when I use the crate the entities especially villagers fall out and also when is the anchor point so hard to use its very confusing at times one time I had the next I didn't.

The anchor point is very easy to use, if crates don't work that's an issue with the original mod and I'll look into it. Shift right click an anchor point to change if it's for a ship or for the ground. The rest is pretty self explanatory.
Found some bugs like crates still not working. and dirt is now considered as a block that can be compiled which should not be the but the mod is lagless as hell(with small build) heck it even raised my fps however ill test it out with some big builds all the way to the limit.
Yup, that's sort of a requirement so you don't die in a flying ship.

Yes so I know have to manually rebuild my stuff.
Just the ship blocks like balloons and the helm.

Or even no blocks at all if you needed it.

So no more request for things to be added in

For the time being I would prefer people to bug test so I can be assured this is a stable version I can leave behind for 1.7.10
