Dear Developer,
thanks for your work and support. I tested about an hour, the blocklimit is about 5.858 - no matter what value is in the config file. This might not depend from the RAM Minecraft is able to use, i got the same result with a 5GB Setup as with a 2GB setup.
I know, that the old mod was able to take about 30.000 Blocks, my ship was huge back that days.
Please respond, what can we or you do, to solve this issue? Thanks in advance.
I would like to give a suggestion, for the walking on a ship that's active, perhaps look into the code for Cuchaz's ships mod, his apparently allows you to even use chests and such on the ship when it's in motion too.
if both mods were to merge together this could be a really great mod.
Hey, just wanted to know if you were ever planning on fixing the glitch that causes ppl to teleport out of their ships. I'm sure you're busy w that other mod, but if you could just make a hot fix I'd Glady appreciate it! Thanks for this great mod!
I don't know if I'm missing something, but I can only seem to get one person in a passenger seat on a ship. I can't fit anyone else. Is this mod broken or is this normal behavior? I recall the original Archimedes Ships plugin allowing more than one passenger.
I've tried having a lot of seats (12) and just a few (2) all in different positions on and around the ship and only one seems to ever work.
In 1492 Darkevilmac and LeonardoDavinci made an big big scroll of how to makes ships and all! in 2015 darkevilmaps found the scroll and made the legendary MOD! XD this is a theory joke!
Any chance on the ship dismounting fix before work on 1.12 starts?
Work on 1.12 has already started and is nearly done. I'm waiting for Forge to stabilize then I'm going to work on bugfixing and optimizations before a 1.12 release. I don't plan on going back to 1.10 at this point.
Good news! I've just gone ahead and implemented VBOs for ships! This was one of the features introduced in 1.8 to speed up rendering, so many of you should see benefits on the 1.12 version when it's released.

My mc 1.10.2 world runs on an ancient CentOS server that can't upgrade Java beyond 6. MovingWorld and Vessels both "require" Java 8. Is that a practical requirement or just a default? Can those be compiled into Java-6 targeted jars, or does the functionality in 1.10 depend on Java-8 classes and methods?
I have hope because this mod began life a few versions ago, when Java-6 wasn't quite so obsolete.

Hi everyone, I hope to have DV updated for 1.12, sorry for the inactivity as of late. I've been somewhat burnt out on developing DV and have spent a lot of time working on another mod. I do plan on having a version for DV on 1.12, you can expect work on that to begin once Forge's recipe system is more stable.
