Also, how would this viper-insect look like? Would it be like a big fly with a viper tail, neck, and fangs?

Davey has a fantastic chameleon mob in Primitive Mobs that I CANNOT compete with. Besides, just making a giant version of existing animals isn't quite exciting enough.

Yeah. For this, I'd recommend having the anglerfish-like mob have a sliiiiight bit of blowfish in it.

Lycanite's mobs adds a worm-creature to deserts, and I don't really want to make a dancing mariachi cactus monster. Something with a lizard could work, but the idea needs more meat to it.
I was thinking adding a semi-boss to desert temples - some sort of Anubite monster.
I think I'll make a list of things to add in the OP.
EDIT: Done! Let me know what you guys think. Also, which mob does everyone want next? I'm thinking the Iron Wroughtnaut.
maybe for the desert mob something along the lines of a roadrunner? (although not just a giant one!)

A giant hand that roams the nether. Nobody knows where it came from, because nothing in minecraft has 3D hands. It's fingers are very powerful, and it can jump a long way without taking any fall damage. It can stick to walls an ceilings.

I love it! I would make it ghostly and floating, though, not crawling.
I would love something similar to a stegosaurus but its back has glowing crystals that changes colors depending on biome, a head with two eyes on each side, a tail club that produces fire and gives knockback, I have no idea for a name.

I've got it! It's called a Strongholder (get it??), and its an armored hand that spawns inside strongholds and floats through the tunnels (sometimes through walls) searching for you.
(Also, do the Iron Wroughtnaut next)
