Okay irtimaled, I see the reply that you gave jkarlos03 on March 23rd concerning the running of Optifine and BBOR together, but I am very "unsavvy" with this sort of thing. I would love to run your mod and Optifine at the same time in the vanilla client, but I don't really understand how JSON files work. Would you mind walking me through it at a level that a tubist can understand? Okay, here are my questions:
1. How should I go about opening and editing a JSON file? What program should I use for that? Is it a word processing application or something else?
2. What is an "Optifine dependency", and where do I put it in the BBOR JSON file?
3. What does "Change the jar & inheritsFrom in the BBOR json to match the id value from the Optifine json file.
Add --tweakClass optifine.OptiFineForgeTweaker to the BBOR json file" mean?
I am currently running 1.13.2-Optifine_HD_U_E7, if that helps at all.
So I am trying to check that my rebuilding iron farm is working but it looks like all villages are the same and that the colors aren't changing but I know that I am forming different villages what should I do other than check the files to know that the villages are different? Figured it our apparently I was looking at the wrong file, and it wasn't making it correctly I fixed that and am now seeing different colors
@Andyistgd - What was the error you received in the log? Just in the process of changing machines so don't have everything setup to reproduce just now.
In case anyone is interested, I managed to get this mod working alongside carpetmod no problem in 1.13.2.I created the boundingbox server.jar as per the instructions, then downloaded it and copied the contents of the carpetmod files into the server.jarUploaded it and it's working!Well, so far... Will report back with any showstopping bugs!Hmmm. I can make it work but I'm not 100% sure how I've done it yet... Will report back with less wine inside me.
Screenshot for proof though!
Definitely have it working!
Streaming watching my iron farm rebuild if anyone is interested.
This is with carpetmod and boundingbox together.
Nice - there seems to be some weirdness with the village boxes - glad you got it working tho!

Maybe I'm just rusty, but how do you get it to work with Bukkit? I copied the file into the plugins folder, and it loads, but doesn't seem to work.
You need a modded client to see the boxes - connect with bbor 1.13.2 forge/rift or vanilla client and the boxes will get sent from server to client.
My bad, all working now, thanks.
How can i use optifine and bounding in vanilla at the same time? is possible? please explain me, thanks.
It's a little bit involved but here goes...
Install Optifine & BBOR.
Open the .json files for the BBOR & Optifine versions.
Copy the Optifine dependency from the Optifine json file to the BBOR json file.
Change the jar & inheritsFrom in the BBOR json to match the id value from the Optifine json file.
Add --tweakClass optifine.OptiFineForgeTweaker to the BBOR json file.
Example of 1.0.7 bbor json file with Optifine HD_U_E4 for 1.13.

hello, thanks for the help but I can not get it to work with bbor 1.0.9 and optifine 1.13.2-OptiFine_HD_U_E7
When i press B or O, the boxes dont appear. Im on a Paper server btw, 1.13.2.
I tried it out on single player, and it seems to work though. Not sure why it doesn't work :/

Hello, I was trying to merge both optifine and the mod together.
I did the same that you told jkarlos03 to do. However, the game crashes just after hitting the play button
This is the BBOR-1.0.9-1.13.2.json file
Is there any mistake?
The latest Pre-Release seems to have broken your Fabric version.

@irtimaled
Will you be updating your mod any time soon? And sorry for being eager, I just really love this mod.

@asundrus I'm trying to figure out how to highlight the villages in 1.14, once I've finished setup of my new dev machine I'll take a look again.
