Oh wait. You want to connect item transfering pipes... The item transfer with DP is a bit quirky, there has to be an actual inventory on the other side. (Chest, Hopper, anything that can hold items)
Connecting pipes outside directly to pipes inside is something I did not yet make work with BC/LP pipes because they do not behave like inventories in code. It works with EnderIO though iirc. (Since EIOs pipe endpoints technically act like inventories.)
I use the very expensive teleport pipes from buildcraft addon AdditionalPipes for all my inter-pocket-space transfer needs.
The only problem is, my gates can't detect when the powergrid is requesting power, so i have to set all engines inside a pocket to work basically all the time, which wastes a lot of power. I also have logistics pipes but I don't know much about it. could someone tell me a good way to setup an engine room inside a pocket without having your engines waste fuel all the time? thanks!

PS: can you reproduce that problem with the recommended version of Forge (10.13.4.1448)? You have a newer version (10.13.4.1481), maybe downgrading to the recommended one solves the issue for now.
Can you add a tool that would link multiple blocks to the same dimension?
Potential use:
A portable mass storage system for multiple users. Fill the dimension with chests and both my friend and I could carry around a block to access it.
Quick transportation across distances.
How entering and exiting the dimension could work:
Make one dimensional block(let them be named so you can see the name when looking)
each face can only be linked to one Dimensional interface and you can link to no more than 4 faces.
new block: Dimensional interface(once linked you would see "<dimension name> interface" when looking at it)
each face can be linked to a different dimensional block
new tool: Dimension wrench (right click on dimensional block to set target dim, right click on Dimensional interface to link)
shift right clicking will instantly break either of those blocks
Example of exiting a dimension with 4 faces linked:
assuming the North, East, West, and South faces are all the linked faces.
Clicking on the top or bottom exits the dimension and puts the character next to the Dimensional block.
Clicking on one of the cardinal faces exits the dimension and puts the character next to the Dimensional interface that that face is linked to.
If the Dimensional interface that is linked to that face is not currently placed in the world the character will be placed next to the Dimensional block.
Edit: I think I know enough about java/modding that I could help with this if you wanted.
Edit2: I forgot to mention that When you are inside a pocket dimension and looking at a linked face, you should be able to see the coordinates and dimension that that face will take you too. assuming you have waila integration

Is there a way to put animals in them. I am using fossil and archaeology and want to put dinosaurs in them. I know i can put the eggs in there but i have a full grown trex and want to put it in one of these
Few things. First of all, I love this idea, as I have always thought that there should be a mod that did something like this but was always too lazy to look it up. Normally I would think that it's a graphical glitch, but the connecters still load the "Plug" things and the nether crystal still shows the corner thingys(You know what I mean.) . I can't figure it out. I went through all the optifine settings and nothing seemed to fix it.
Now from the mod reviews I watched, I collect that the walls are supposed to have stars and void on them. Any thoughts?
P.S. This is quite modded, but I'm not sure how many mods count as lots. So if 43 including libraries and APIs count, then I'm pretty heavy. If not, I'm not.

Not without the help of another mod. You could use a Safari Net from Minefactory Reloaded to catch the TRex and release it inside of the pocket.
