Yes, ProjectE is a recreation of EE2. There are no plans to nerf anything about it by default, however some users prefer config options that make things harder.
I've been waiting for something like this since the old days! Entirely epic, and many many thanks! Especially for the config file settings allowing me to disable condensers and the more overpowered aspects of the mod while keeping shiny flying rings and so forth.
And interdiction torches. Oh how I've missed those. Amazing diamond sink, later game. Just one thing, though. I've noticed that in Project-E they actually repel villagers as well. Way back when, I used to use 'em as a way to monster-proof villages (among many other things) and was just wondering if that was intentional, represented a change in code, or what.

Great to hear you are enjoying the mod, I'll load up EE2 later and compare its behaviour to ProjectE.
Yeah, I figured the possibility exisited that there were code changes since the days of 1.2.5. I know they've done a lot of tweaking villager code and so forth so I just thought I'd ask. To my ire, I haven't actually tested how the interdiction torches work with regards to non-hostile animals or golems, so I can't quite speak to that yet.
But given they have always been one of my favorite toys to play with, I'm sure I'll get to that point. Sadly, I don't still have my old tekkit server to just fire up and compare, though.
Hi. I'm the dev of Equivalent Exchange Reborn. When I saw your mod, I realized that you have done everything that I was trying to do already, and probably better then my attempts as well. I'm really happy to see an EE2 replacement that is functional and accurate, so I'm wondering, do you want my help? I don't have experience with models and entities, but I can help with items, textures, and network code. Is there anything I can do to assist with the development process?

What I would suggest is firstly join our IRC channel, its the best way to stay in touch with me and the other main devs. Nextly check the issues section and take your pick, open a pull. As for being a main dev it comes down to the amount and quality of pulls that a user submits, when I see dedication like with MaPePeR I generally promote.
One change I think would be nice is reducing the output of the Covalence Dust recipes to about 8-10: 2 of each for the Talisman of Repair, 1 of each for an Alchemical Chest, 3 of the High for an Alchemical Bag, and 2 of each late game to make the Alchemical Tome. I mean, with how the Talisman currently works (and please for the love of Glob on high please dont change how it works), Covalence Dust isnt used for a whole lot outside of what I listed.

I've tried to use it to repair tools and it's never worked. I've placed one as well as 8 dust around damaged items and nothing happened. That's why I go for the Talisman of Repair as soon as possible.

There are three tiers of dust, low is for basic things such as wood and stone tools, med for iron level, and high for diamond level, please ensure that you are using the correct dust. You craft the dust along with the item in your inventories 2x2 crafting grid.

I've played with the original EE2, so I do recall the levels. I just never really needed all that dust outside of the three or so recipes I use it for. Maybe a config option to customize the output so people can set it to what they see fit is in order?
Oh, what a wonderful world, guys! OP armor without the need of Orespawn or recharging. That's the key to end-game material. Love the new textures, also. It has come into 1.7 well here! XD)
Anyways, I came by to ask a tiny favour (probably not to tiiny.) I know that with this manufaturing diamonds becomes a tiny task, but could Metallurgy 4 and TiC support be implented some way, too? I love how the mod works well with other mods for implenting and alike, but could you add these mods (and possibly other) for integration. I really want to make tartarite tools manufatured and produced.

I just finished playing an Orespawn world. I will never use that mod again...No matter how awesome the apple tree is, that mod is just not worth the headache of fighting the Big Three....
That's why I like Project E: No insane boss fights, no armor that you can only get via said bosses, just a nice casual feeling magic based mod.
Im regards to issues with the mod, so far, all I've seen is that the GUI for the Red Matter Furnace is off center by a bit. I didnt make a screenshot of it since I was rushed off to go buy groceries.
This should be possible now using any mod that allows recipe modification, but I will keep it in mind as a config option.

so, do we finally have a full EE2 recreation?

It is also used to repair tools

Yes, the pedestal is planned, however right now the focus is on bugfixing.
