Mat, this mod is very good, and simple. I would suggest that the orb has infinite uses, and you do not have to make a new one every time you use it, as it does cost one diamond.

It does have infinite uses, if you enable it in the config. Might I ask what version you are using as durability is quirky in some.

Sorry to report this but I got the following crash while using your latest core mod.
I was trying to start MC off-line since my IPS has had some issues.
MC online is ok as far as I can see.
The easiest way to fix that bug on your own is to turn off the version checker in mdecore.cfg. I will push a build that fixes this crash when I finish the current code I'm working on.
I have found a "bug": When i try to convert iron in Redstone (Exchange orb and one Iron ingot) it gives me a 4 coal output. How can i fix this?
This only occurs when you set the amount of a ingredient the same for 2 conversion levels. Recipes are considered from lowest value output (charcoal) to highest (emerald). The default configs do not have this problem, and to fix the bug you either have to change your configs so that the values wont conflict, or you have to install a mod that resolves duplicate recipes, such as ganymedes01's work table one.
there problem with this mod i cant convert iron to redstone because recipe the redstone like recipe the coal
I'll need more information to fix the problem. What version of Exchange Orb and Forge are you using, and have you or the maker of your pack changed the configs from the defaults?
I'm using Exchangeorb 1.8.8-1.1 for Minecraft 1.8.9 and can't convert iron into gold. I looked at the config file and couldn't find an iron_gold entry. Is there any way I can add it myself?

Hi MattDahEpic,
I am using Exchange Orb and MattDahEpic Core in my FTB pack "Explora Experimentia".
It can be found here: http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/1-7-10-explora-experimentia.104531/

You forgot to mention here and on curseforge that this mod is dependent upon mdecore to function. A link to it would be greatly appreciated as well!
MDECore is listed as required dependency on every Exchange Orb file on CurseForge and if you look and the top level post on this thread says
with links to MDECore below it.
