CreepTech just passed 500 downloads, thanks for all of your support! Please send us a PM or post here if you find any bugs, or have requests or questions.
A couple of updates in this maintenance release to help with modpacks:
New Features
Add OreGen to Config file, so all CreepTech Overworld Ore WorldGen can be turned on or off ore by ore
Custom CreepTech machines and recipes can now use like Ores and Items from other mods, provided they are listed per convention in OreDictionary (e.g., Forestry, IC2, Thermal Expansion)
Quantum Crystal Monster boss music now targets nearest player
Thanks again for all the support and downloads. Finally got the CreepTech Wiki updated with Recipes for Armor Sets and Weapons:
Nano Suit(Tier 1) - Recommended minimum armor for entering the Quantum Dimension. Auto-retrieve throwable weapon. Quantum Suit (Tier 2) - Good upgrade set, good for Quantum Dimension and the End. Fiery Suit (Tier 3) - Great for the Nether. Shadow Suit(Tier 3) - Great end game set. Hazmat Suit (Special) - Great for volatile situations, uranium, or retrieving that hard to get Ore.
Thanks for posting the error and the note. Honestly, we didn't test on a server (though we coded for it to work). We'll do that now and see what falls out. That error is pointing to vanilla code, so I'm curious what would cause that.
Also, we like the idea of the Quantum Creeper. You may see something in a future release
A couple of updates in this maintenance release to help with servers, and some general bug squashing:
New Features
CreepTech 1.1.2 now properly runs on a Forge Server (woot!). Enjoy responsibly.
Bug Fixes
Fixed particle effects and armor so they declare/render client side only (this was the cause of the Server problems)
Quantum Crystal Monster no longer destroys his own home. Bad Monster! Bad!
Fixed Quantum Crystal Monster Dungeon mob spawners (you early adopters had it easy!)
A thought for server players: you could easily create a game or even a mini game with the goal of spreading/stopping the virus between team bases. Perhaps some random drops of Block Disruptors, Block Converters, Dust Blazes, Nano Sabers?
All right! CreepTech has broken 1,000 downloads, and is in the top 25% of all mod downloads in the last month on Curse! Not bad for the first month on 1.7. Thanks again for the support and feedback.
Question: Anyone care to do another Spotlight or a Let’s Play? (If so, msg us for a few insider secrets nobody seems to have found yet.)
Looks like the NEI plug-in for the CreepTech machines is leading the race for the next feature to be released. Don’t forget to vote above.
In case you didn’t know, there are rich achievement systems for both CreepTech and the Quantum Dimension. Check ‘em out.
Modpackers, let us know if you are running into any build issues. We check OpenEye for bug reports regularly, but want to stay on top of it. Thanks to those who have contributed already.
Big news: Our second mod is coming in about 2-3 weeks. We think it's a ton of fun.
Yah, we thought of that one the day Microsoft bought Minecraft. These guys do serve a purpose (besides spouting their most embarrassing public quotes). Have you figured it out yet?

Thanks for the post, medsal. It's funny, this appears to be an incompatibility between our two mods, CreepTech and Inventory Pets. We'll investigate and send a fix out (prolly next week).
So, before I install this quite neat-looking mod, I have two questions. First, are any of those new ore materials required for your machines besides Aluminum, which is already prevalent in Galacticraft, required for anything in this mod?
And, so the Quantum Dimension won't leak into my world until I make the Portal, yes? And it's optional to have the spread of it on? Or is there perhaps a config option to change how fast it turns other places into Quantum things? Or I suppose I just have to be quick about not letting it spread too far before I can stop it.
It seems really interesting, and you've been making some pretty good mods, so I'd gladly have an install once I learn about the above.

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, the Portal itself requires almost all the ores, as do some of the weapons and armor. The machines are mostly Aluminum. But they Ores are in OreDictionary and are configurable. I tested with Forestry to make sure.
And yes, the bad guys don't spawn unless you make the portal. You can always stop the flow of bad guys with a 'Portal Disruptor' block or turn it off in the config file.
Would recommend you try it out on a separate world first, so you get the hang of it. And you can always make a backup of your world folder, just in case.

All right, cool. Most of these ores are already used by at least one other mod I have installed, so. If I remember watching the video correctly, Meteorite Ore drops Black Iron instead of something like Meteorite stuff? I can go with that.
Also the Quantum Dimension doesn't play nice with Hardcore Darkness from Random Thing mod, so it's really dark there. Ever thought about doing what the Nether does and giving it at least a decent ambient glow? I mean it does seem to have a day cycle. Also, is it possible to make it so that other mod's mobs and the like won't spawn into the Quantum Dimension by default? I know it's mostly the fault of the creators of the other mods (In this case, Ender Zoo), but either way.
Still a great-looking mod though.

The Nano Suit and other armors (Quantum Suit and Shadow Suit) all have night vision built in. It was part of the goal to make people level up in armor before they visit. You'll need the extra armor and buffs anyway. The Fiery Suit was built for the Nether :).
Nano Suit is made with Black Iron & LEDs. Check out the wiki for that recipe. Personal favorite is the throwable Nano Saber that goes with it and adds damage boost. Other armors are made with Ores from the Quantum Dimension.
how come your mod isn't compatible with inventory pets?
Real answer: Looks like an Entity conflict between the minis caused by using similar naming in some of the AI logic (we used the Entity string names in the AI.... probably not the best choice).

Questions about the CreepTech Ore Processing method? All the machines and recipes can be found here, along with the ore processing guide.
However, when putting this on a server, it crashes with the following error:
Hopefully this can be easily fixed, because I'd love to be able to include this mod.
P.S. Suggestion: Quantum creepers that on explosion create a single block of quantum stone at their location.

Hey again Serrix

Enjoying tinking around with the mod so far! Is there a way to tame the Quantum Wolves? I noticed they head-tilt at bones.
Still waiting for compatibility with your own other mod there. Can't use CreepTech and Inventory Pets together ;~;

Glad you are enjoying our first mod! Yes! They like Quantum Shards, and are quite powerful allies
how come your mod isn't compatible with inventory pets?
Real answer: Looks like an Entity conflict between the minis caused by using similar naming in some of the AI logic (we used the Entity string names in the AI.... probably not the best choice).
Better answer: They will be compatible soon
