Out of curiosity, do you mind if a friend of mine takes good and useful parts from this mod, to essentially bring it to 1.10.2, since you are not working on it anymore? This mod is perhaps my absolute most favorite mod, and I miss being able to play it. My friend is a mod developer as well, and is the author of Primal Core, and is also working on a magic mod of his own.
I don't mind if you decide to do that, but honestly I'm considering picking the CP2 project back up, since as I hate having unfinished projects. If you still want to port the original Clockwork Phase though, that's fine.
And thanks: hearing that people liked my mod really does help keep me motivated on this.

Hi Lumaceon, it was great to see a post by you and to see you wanting to come back. Clockwork Phase is still one of my favorite mods to play with in my 1.7.10 pack and I remember all the cool stuff you used to talk about doing for CP2. I wish you the best of luck if you do decide to come back. You have a lot more fans than you think.
I would very much like to see CP2. I hope the dial, or something similar, will be there, should you do CP2. I am sure many people will be happy to see the mod. I just hope you make it 1.10.2 as well, unless by then 1.11.2 is fully set and ready for mods and mod packs.
Hey, it's been a while since I've looked here. Firstly, how are you on such a fine occasion, Lumaceon? Secondly, so you have any ideas for CP2 that we should know about? I can understand if you want to keep things under wraps for when the mod is revealed, but you've piqued my curiosity.

Now look, buddy. I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like 'what is beauty', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. Like, how am I going to stop some big, mean mother-hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work: Use more gun. Like this heavy-caliber, tripod-mounted little ol' number designed by me. Built by me. And you'd best hope, not pointed at you.

I'm doing well, thanks. I'm not necessarily keeping secrets, but a lot of the previous ideas I posted about had to be scrapped, just because they were way too ambitious.
I can confirm a few things though:
Clockwork tools are still here. Now with a better assembly GUI.
There will be a multi-tool that combines the 3 clockwork tools.
Clockwork machines will exist. These are pretty much like your average machine blocks.
Later on, you can upgrade the machines to their temporal versions, which instantly complete their action if you have the time energy.
Other stuff....
I do have a fairly specific list for "Other stuff," but it's tentative so I'll leave you with those 4 for now.

Was wondering if you had anymore updates for this? This mod is one of my favourite mods from the 1.7 era and I was so happy to see that this isn't 100% dead

Most of my work lately has been bugfixes and internal changes (I had 2 separate dupe-bugs with shift-clicking). If you'd like to track my progress, there's the open-source GitHub repository: https://github.com/Lumaceon/ClockworkPhase2/commits/master
Ever since the 1.12 update I've made it a goal to be more clear with my changelogs (something I tend to have trouble with).
https://imgur.com/a/yfolv5S I'm playing 1.7.10 1.0c and i can't get my clockwork pick to accept its mainspring or clockwork. any idea hat i'm doing wrong?
Suuuuper late response for you two, Leik and Archon, but the clockwork assembly table has tabs in the last 1.7.10 update! Check them out
Also it's great to hear you might still be working on the Lumaceon <3 It's absolutely on of the most creative mods I've seen, the premise and execution are unmatched. It's simple and elegant, a thing of beauty!

It's been slow, but I'm still working on it. Feature creep is a killer.
I can totally do a screenshot though.
Oooh, shiny.

I have exactly the same problem
