you should put this mod back to 1.7.10 it would be a nice experiance with advent of ascension
I considered it, but down-porting mods to earlier versions is hard, especially with 1.8. And by the time I'd be done porting it, other people would have most likely already updated to 1.8, so it'd be best just to leave it for now.
The the 1.7.1 version as updated as the 1.8 version?
It is not, nor will it be.

I like the mod so far, only complaint is the huge info hud area on right side of my
screen, takes up almost half of my screen. If I could remove that, the mod would
be a lot better. I have the latest version. Changing the config file gui to false
doesn't do anything.
