take screenshots of it in windowed mode keep the width below 1600 and you're golden. I always use filtered mode so it doesn't look as wonky when it isn't 1:1

Is this mod bug free for 1.7.10 ?
I'm having huge issues with MapWriter, map doesn't save / waypoints don't save either and after a few chunks map goes all black...
I would have used JourneyMap if it was less ressources hunger because I didn't want to add LiteLoader (I already got enough mods/core installed) but I don't have many options and I remember this map mod (VoxelMap) is pretty damn good.
If there's no issues I think I will give it a try.
If you have any mod compatibility issues, please let me know as well.

This is probably one of if not the most lightweight minimap mods I've used. I switched from JourneyMap to this and haven't regretted a second of it. The Liteloader concern isn't an issue either as I find it adds almost nothing to startup times and find few incompatibilities. In fact the only mod I've found that has any real conflict with VoxelMap is Colored Lights mod, and as that's still in beta it could be expected to have issues - almost all of which can be fixed with different options settings. The 1.7.10 version of VoxelMap was recently updated as well to include that gorgeous fullscreen map that the 1.8 version featured, which was the only thing I wanted JourneyMap/MapWriter for anyway.
Liteloader also has the only HD Skin mod I've found that doesn't involve giving your Minecraft password away to 3rd party sites, and it works pretty much flawlessly. The VoxelModPack has tons of good stuff in there, all powered by Liteloader. I recommend you at least give it and VoxelMap a try.

Oh don't worry I know this mod is really good quality Was just making sure if it was in a stable-build. Forge screwed everything for most modders, especially the old one.
Thank you for confirming it was stable. I loaded it in my pack (private pack for myself) and I was amazed by the Quality and the Performance, RIP MapWriter and JourneyMap
I love all the changes they made, like the different icons for waypoints and the sorting list for the waypoints.
There's 2 things that bug me though....
Can I disable the ability to teleport to my Waypoint? I know I can just not use them but I'm like that... if I can do it I will do it soon or later and that would be cheating imo..
Other thing, map Fog of War is really small for my liking. I liked the minimal range from MapWriter and JourneyMap, with VoxelMap I can see farther then my current Render Distance, I hope that make sense
Let me know if I can "Disable Teleport to waypoint" and "Decrease Map Render Distance"
Thank you guys!

teleport to waypoint is only available if you created the world with commands enabled. if you don't want to cheat, don't have commands enabled (pretty sure they default to off when you create a world). They can be disabled after the fact by editing your world with an NBT editor
not sure what you are asking with the view distance. Do you mean blank areas beyond your view distance? all the zoom levels (on the minimap) are powers of two; if your view distance is above 8 (say, it's ten) the map can zoom out to 16. I default to showing more, sure. Currently no way to restrict zoom levels. If you don't like seeing blank chunks, zoom in a level

Hello and thanks for the reply! What I meant is that I can see farther on my mini-map then I can in-game with with my current render distance (let's say 6 Chunks Render) and this kinda spoil the aspect of exploration for example in the Nether, I can see the forteress from a far distance and usually there's a fog in-game that reduce you view distance.
MapWriter for example, as a feature that reduce the "map update" range in chunks distance.
Here's a config example :
# the square of the max distance from the player to map chunks at
I:maxChunkSaveDistSq=16384
This mean, only 128 chunk render and you can adjust it to your linking.
If you can add this feature that would be awesome!
I can post a screenshot to be more specific if required
I made a non-creative world and teleport was disabled.
I Should have tested that myself xD

Unless you mean the world map, I'm pretty sure you are mistaken. The minimap doesn't render anything past your view distance. Here's a shot of what it shows for me with my view distance set to three:
But yeah, that doesn't take fog into account. But I still can't see anything there that I can't see in world by turning to the side a bit, thanks to Minecraft's use of depth based fog instead of range based:
Still, I understand what you are saying. But in the end, the map draws what the client knows about. The client may choose to obscure bits of it with fog, but there are mods to get rid of the fog. If one doesn't want that to happen, one doesn't use such mods. To me the minimap is kinda the same way

And yes that's what I meant. I'll have to take a second look at it

404 is Curse's problem. Submitted a ticket, hope to hear back
1.5.2 New version stuff if Curse ever gets sorted:
zooming in world map much more consistent with low framerates
handle resource packs included with saves
handle launchers that connect the client directly to a server
handle resource pack waypoint icons with different sizes
waypoints created with a now missing image will show as the default instead of not at all
how am i meant to download it? prntscr.com/6copso (just a print screen btw) but apparently this doesn't exist anymore? could at least update your threads and **** if you decided to remove it so people don't get confused
He didnt remove it, Curse apparently did for some reason. So THATS why he didnt remove it.
=/ the site went stupid and crashed and my reply got removed...
As for where 1.7.10 is and the file not existing or whatever, In the comments on the site for the download and even here like a few lines up the mod author said that theres some problem on Curses end with them taking his files down, NOT the author. Thats why this is still here cuse it might be back, so what would the point to removing this topic? And thats why you cant find the files. Be patient hes working on it.
I wouldnt download anything that anyone posts up that you donno or isnt from the mod author himself. You never know what they might stick in with it that can mess ur stuff up. Im anxious to get it too but Its better to play safe then sorry.
Ah and its back up now btw...well add beat me to it but im confirming it

Does the 1.7.10 version not have the updated map?
