As I said previously on this thread, this is an awesome mod! I'd like to suggest a few feature enhancements that would make it even better:
Ability to toggle / zoom the hud map and the bigger map displayed by the X screen separately. I normally would like to keep the bigger map zoomed out more than the hud map.
Ability to zoom out more, perhaps a 0.25 and a 0.125? I realize that chunks that are not loaded will not display, and that is fine. I'd like to be able to go to the limit of the chunks that are loaded.
Does it have to be used with the initial 1.8 release or can I load the liteloader 1.8 version + voxelmap with my snapshot world? I figured I'd ask before I corrupt my save or something along those lines
I tried applying liteloader to 1.8.1-pre3, but it didn't work -- it would not even start.
I then loaded my game I had been playing in the modified 1.8.0, and it worked fine except for one detail -- sunflowers for some reason dropped as objects without being harvested. Since I don't really care about sunflowers, this wasn't a big deal.
The thing I do miss is the vanilla beacons reverting to the problem where they disappear with certain viewing angles. I'm looking forward to the full release of 1.8.1 since I suspect liteloader will update quickly after it comes out.
Looks like you jave a corrupted library. Go into .minecraft/libraries/net/sf and delete the jopt-simple folder and run the game again. If you don't have that folder then look through your logs to find any mention of jopt-simple and see if it's reporting any error when attempting to download that library.
not at creating a map of everywhere you've been! MapWriter is great for that, and it's a really neat feature.
I wouldn't be against adding something like that, but it would be a bit of effort figuring out how to make it work with VoxelMap. For instance, the dynamic lighting, and height mapping (color being affected by the player's height) would need to be ignored / normalized so different parts of the giant world map weren't showing different times of day etc. To say nothing of user togglable features the user might have switched during play. I would have to produce two images: one with the dynamic/optional stuff and one for storage. Doable, but it's kept me from really considering implementing it thus far.
I also haven't found it really necessary, as external programs can whip up a world map in one go - for multiplayer servers in concert with a world downloader (something which MapWriter includes it seems). MapWriter's ability to pan around and zoom in game is very neat though
is it possible to make teleporting to waypoint OP level 1?
it doesn't work if the player doesn't have /tp or /tppos permission (it uses built in commands). Assign permissions to those commands however you prefer

You have to actually post the exception if you want any help with it! If you paste it here then use spoiler tags.
Why can't you use curse?
He used to post stuff here but then he moved to PMC, I thought he would start posting his stuff here again but obviously that's not his intentions
VoxelMap he put on curse...
I say start with VoxelFlight. The 'ice-skating' while flying in vanilla is quite annoying.
Wrong author.
Oops! My bad for my ignorance. I assumed he wrote it because of the "Voxel" name...I didn't even check lol. My apologies.
I'm pretty sure MapWriter does this.
