There is a version of this mod made specifically for modpacks. Due to large veins of softstone, generation lags heavily, even with loads of RAM. The modpack version is the most recent on crurse!
Right now, Mini-Picks and More is a mod that contains new features and materials. It is a solo project and I have done all of the texture and code myself. Please try this mod out and give me feedback including the What should be worked on next? poll which will be updated.
This mod adds craftable mini pickaxes that the player crafts in their 2x2 crafting grid. It also adds berries as a plant that is generated across the map. For endgame, it adds 2 materials, Icosium and Likynium. Icosium is weaker than diamond, and Likynium is stronger. Mini-Tools have half the durability of their larger counter-parts.
Icosium Dust is gathered from Icosium Ore and Nether Ore that generates on levels 20-60,
The Icosium Ingots use vanilla sticks and tool recipes.

This is how you craft Likynium Ingots from Icosic Gems
The number of ingots you get from this recipe is editable in the config
Likynium tools are made by using Likynium ingots and Icosium Sticks and vanilla recipes.

Cotton Plants!
Cotton will generate throughout the world and drop cotton and cotton seeds. It can be grown on grass but growing it on farmland is twice as fast
Cotton can be used in 3 recipes as of now:
Berry plants also spawn in the world. They drop berries and berry seeds. The berries give speed 1 for 15 seconds. They can also be grown on grass or farmland, growing much faster on farmland.
Half-Resource Recipies
This Recipe is for the "half-material" (is actually quarter) for wood.
A stone is the half resource for cobblestone
Diamonds and Ingots split up into 2 of their respective half ingots, these can be reverse crafted
Modded half materials are also added
Coal has a quarter material to heal dying flames!

This is my first forum post ever! Please give me some tips on how to make it better and what I've done wrong. I hate to look unprofessional but I really just don't know what I'm doing so far. Also, this is my first mod and the code is still very sloppy and has uneeded classes, this will be fixed in the near future. Thank you for your feedback!
The next version of the mod will be released this Friday, with future updates coming (hopefully) once a week every Friday. Make sure to check back weekly to get the latest version! I lied guys, the update is today!!! I wanted to spread it out but i realized this mod wasn't very interesting and I have HUGE plans for the future, check the thread.
There will be an update coming by the end of the week including Macro Pickaxes. This will include a new name for the mod (Micro/Macro-Tools and More). If you are interested in the mod stay posted. There are lots of new recipes and by the end of next week there should be Macro versions for all tools. For a teaser, they are 5x more durable than their vanilla counter-parts. How... Golden;)
The macro tool update has been released!! For now the pickaxes have 5X the durability of the normal tools. They are crafted with stick bundles and reinforced materials as seen above! Thanks for the support!
next release will be the rest of the macro tools. That might take a while because the textures are 32x32. Might have an idea for micro hoes but im not sure if it would even be worth it. Micro and Macro swords will probably come out soon but since I would have to change the damage I have to make a new tool material, there fore I just have to initialize all of the vanilla materials with their default values with a different name and damage, then use them in the initialization of the new swords which could take a while. Maybe Saturday at the earliest.
no update today! Have been completely re-writing the code and cleaning up packages. Next file should be noticeably smaller! Not like that really matters but hey... whatever.
A COMPLETE OVERHAUL OF THE MECHANICS OF THE MOD WILL BE COMING SOON. This will be version 2.0. It includes some rebalancing to the tools themselves, the crops, and the materials. The way the mod is written in java is completely different now and hopefully will lead to faster generation times (this was an issue in testing) and the capacity for more features in the future. As 60% off the votes are for a new material, that will come in 2.1 or 2.2. THanks for all the downloads and views!
Worked more on the update today. As of now there will be fewer updates that are more drawn out. I have rebalanced generation and plant growth rate and added in the 3 macro tools. before release 2.0 i would like to have all tools (hoes, swords, maybe paxels) in mini and macro form. When 2.0 comes out the textures will look terrible because I'm just bad at texturing. For now the micro tools look fine but the macro tools are scaled up versions of the vanilla tools and I need to figure out a way to make them all look good, thanks for the patience on that!
