Yeah definitely when I have time I will fix the errors and get started, these will be at the end of the list but these are great ideas. The auto chisel needs a redo though. It will be better than ever.
Thanks, and I can help with the new textures.

Yeah of course, I may make a chisel IRC channel and abandon my channel, but I am *almost* always on espernet. That's usually the best way to get a hold of me. Other than that you can email me @ [email protected]

er, okay then.. I don't use Espurrnet nor IRC, but I may e-mail you, but I'll just post my progress here if you don't mind.

Heyy, I couldn't find if these two questions were asked already, so I hope this is no double posting.... What is the difference between Pokefenns 1.5.7 version and your 2.2.0.0.2, as they both seem to be for 1.7.10? And will this mod support mod blocks?

His version adds new blocks (E.G. Voidstone, Laboratory Blocks), and I think soon it will, maybe.

By mod blocks I think (s)he means chisel variations of blocks from other mods, like a chiseled bronze block, or something like that.
But the problem is, how will the Chisel remember what block it was originally if you got other ores that are the same in the OreDictionary (E.G. Railcraft Tin/Lead and IC2 Tin/Lead)?

Please make all chiseled blocks craftable into the vanilla/base block in a normal crafting grid, add missing stairs and slabs for all blocks, and register everything with Forge Multipart so we don't need to mess with config files.

Why would it need to (if it's even possible)? The ore dictonary makes the items equivalent anyway, for crafting and whatnot. It could be important if you like a particular type for building, but just don't chisel a supply?

1. Why?
2. Cricket's working on this, I believe
3. Not sure one simply 'registers' blocks with FMP, but for standard blocks it may be simple, and would be a nice feature.

i understand, I was a server developer for a year, modder for a year and a player for a year. I know where people are coming from. I am giving an opinion that's all.

I know, but then it won't know which one it was originally. That's why I came up with the OreDictionary Chisel idea so you can chisel any item/block that's in the OreDictionary into another one that's the same ore in the OreDictonary.

I read that you're redoing the auto chisel, but still felt I should tell you that it didn't drop any of its inventory when I broke the one I was using.

So you mean you want to be able to use Chisel as a oredict converter? That seems unrelated to the mod's intention, if quite cool.
Thanks, and I can help with the new textures.

Oh yeah? Tell that to the factory blocks and holystone on my server that evaporated.
You really need to have a big warning at the top that says "INCOMPATIBLE WITH WORLDS MADE WITH POKEFENN'S CHISEL"
ESPECIALLY if it's on curseforge!
I'm insanely lucky I have a backup. Other people might not be so lucky.
I'm happy that chisel is being continued, but please, warn people better about the lack of compatibility with older versions.

Shift clicking the output of the auto chisel outputs twice that amount to the pattern slot.
Auto Chisel does not drop its inventory when broken.
