IMPORTANT:
As a thank you for following the progress of SirenMod, in the new version, there will be an incentive for some of the members who download the mod. When you install SirenMod, go to "Mods" on the main Minecraft screen, then select "TheRealMcrafter's Siren Mod." Copy the 10 character PIN code, and send me a PM including the code. The first 5 people who send me the code can choose an item, block, or feature to be added into the next release of SirenMod, and I will add it for them. They will also be in the credits for the next release. If you do not see a code, it means that you are not one of the first 5 downloaders.
It's a redstone lever, then some redstone wiring with some repeaters to keep the signal strong, then it leads up to the siren pole which has a General siren a couple blocks up.
No need, as of 1.7, forge automatically assigns ids on startup
I see, however i was hoping for tins feature because when updating from 2.1.01 to 3.0.0, the IDs got re-assigned. While my main world has no alarms, I'd rather not replace all the silicone ore already generated with air.

Currently working on the new version for 1.7.10. Adding a siren controller, and various sensors to go along with it. If you have any ideas, please post them here. Also, once the 1.7.10 version is rolled out, I will consider updating it to 1.8, although I have thought about skipping over 1.8.
By all means! Please send me a PM with the video link and I will add it to the main page.
Another Update:
Enable/Disable Silicon Ore Generation
Also, I will not be able to implement custom sirens in this release due to time constraints. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Looks sweet. Can't wait for it to come out for 1.8.3.Got it on 1.7.10 and the sirens stop working after ~15 seconds of being on and can't be turned back on.
Could you explain how you have your sirens set up?
It's a redstone lever, then some redstone wiring with some repeaters to keep the signal strong, then it leads up to the siren pole which has a General siren a couple blocks up.
Yea, the siren pole is a little buggy. A temporary solution is to break and replace the general siren. Thanks for reporting this bug by the way!

Server log and client logs please?
Are you trying to activate a fire alarm with redstone?
Hmm, it seems the Fire alarm is causing this error. Try removing them and see if this error still happens.
Hmm, Ill have to look into this.
Sure! Added to the next versions list.
Just curious, But will the next version have the ability to change block and Item IDs in the config?
No need, as of 1.7, forge automatically assigns ids on startup.
I'm waiting on a member of the forum to message me with his request. Once I've added whatever he wants in, i'll release the next version.

My apologies for the delay in my reply.
Sorry, but there is no way for me to implement this, because it was removed in Forge 1.7. Sorry about the inconvenience this may cause in your world.

Currently implementing this, Villagers run around when they can hear a siren going off
