yShaders - Shaders for Macs and computers with Intel Graphics! [DISCONTINUED]
Poll: Out of five, how would you rate yShaders?
Ended May 2, 2015
Has there been a version of the Shader Mod which is compatible with 1.8 Forge and doesn't have that bug?
If not, which versions worked?
Thanks in advance.
I don't believe there is. I've just been using the 1.7.10 version for development of yShaders in the meantime.
Creator of Oceano Shaders, feel free to contact me via the Shader Labs discord server found here
yShaders is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux (although it has not been tested on Linux). In what way does it not work? Can you post a crash log, screenshots, PC specs, etc?
Are there any errors that occur? Can you give screenshots and computer specs? Thanks!
could you be using shaders for 1.8? that could be whats wrong with both of your shaders
I made a Feed The Beast modpack! Simply type "Experiment812390" without quotes into the 3rD party codes area and you can see the mods list and install!
Don't be a pedant, or take things out of context on purpose.

OHHH U FELL FOR IT! OOOOOHHH
yShaders works with shaders for 1.8, but it wouldn't hurt to try it in 1.7.10 and see if that fixes the problem.
Glad that fixed it! If you run into any issues, feel free to ask.

Can you post your computer's specs and the full crash log? Thanks!
If you go into "final.fsh" and comment out all the #define lines, you can disable lens flare, godrays and things like that. To disable the pretty water, just delete the gbuffers_water files. That should disable many of the pretty effects and just leave shadows.
You just click the green "download" button on the main page, and then extract the .zip file. Then put the folders inside into your "shaderpacks" folder (which is in your minecraft folder).
Well, I can't find the shaders in the zip file. Could you give me directions on where to find them?
Inside the .zip file, there are 4 folders. These are the shaders. Most shaderpacks are in .zips, but yShaders is distributed in folders.
If you add two slashes before a line, the computer will ignore that line. For example, if I wanted to comment out this line:
I would simply add two slashes to turn it into this:
That will make the line be ignored by the computer.
