I'm hoping someone can help me with dimension because I'm clearly doing something wrong. I'm trying to make a dimension that is simply endless flat plains biome. I used the biome absorber to absorb a plains biome in the overworld to make a plains dimlet, and I used the flat dimlet. I got a dimension made entirely out of wood. I tried adding other default dimlets - sky normal, features none, etc. The closest I got was a flat plains dimension that was bisected by so many canyons there was hardly any ground more than 20 blocks wide. What am I doing wrong? What dimlets do I have to use to simply have a sold flat plains biome for building?
I've been through the RFTools Wiki, great work BTW...I wish more mods did that....
Anyway, I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to have an inventory screen module check the inventory of a RF Tools spawner. I cant seem to get it to work, but I know it does not have a formal inventory, even though it holds items.
You want to check if there is a syringe? That should normally work. Can you show me how you did it?

No, I want to see how many of each of the 3 required items are held in the spawner at any given time. In my specific case, I want to display on a screen, how many, nether stars, soul sand, and organic items the spawner is holding.
What I did, was set the screen module to the spawner block and install it in a screen. The inventory slot id's I set to 0,1,2,and 3. I also tried a few other number combinations, but was unsuccessful.
I am looking to build a few custom dimensions for my server. Is there a way to create a custom dimension without needing to produce all of the dimlets manually? Is there a way to do this via editing files or server commands? I know there are save and load commands, do I just save a random dimension and edit that, or is there a template I could use?
Is there a way to specify the dimension number?
Also, is it possible to add a previous server's overworld map to the game as a dimension?
Hi McJty I'm hoping you're following this thread still.
I consider myself something of an expert on the dimension part of rftools, i can pretty much build any kind of world i need in 1.7.10.
But after we've built a 1.12.2 server i simply can't get any dimlets to show in NEI other than the craftables. Is there a new way of doing things, or is there some sort of setup mechanic i haven't turned on?
