Awesome, saw the previews on Reddit, and this is looking so cool. I'd love a city to explore.
And is that a meteor crater I see?
Not really from meteors. Bad things happened here ages ago...

Is there any way to disable dimensions module (1.7.10 version) , and still have teleports and other machines?
Yes, there is an option to disable the dimension builder in the config

Will it disable all dimlets from creative inventory?
No but they will be unusable

Those cities tell me you are looking at Ruins, Recurrent Complex, and other similar mods to add structure options to the dimlet system. The nice part about Ruins is that modpack designers and even power players can build on the foundations laid down by the mod.
On a more "needy" point, I would like to see "blended" variations of orbs and other natural formations to allow them to be made from a mix of materials randomly or pseudo-randomly chosen for each block. That way you can let tendrils have diamond, emerald, gold, and copper, for example. Cost should be less than simply additive but more than the average. Say, divide the sum by the square root of the number of materials.
A procedural texture function would be helpful to several of your mods. For structure generation you could use them to choose from several block types for a particular use. One group could be for walls, another for floors, and yet another for windows. Natural formations in dimensions could also benefit from this kind of treatment.

This makes me want a way to set the Overworld to gen based on this.
Is there a way to do this?
Not yet. But I will soon (in a few days) start working on a standalone version of this where you will be able to set this as worldtype when creating a world

Somebody please please please, help me with this. I just don't get what I'm doing wrong. Attached is a screen cap of my setup--I would provide a world download, but I'm not sure how to do that.
Here are the details:
There is one RFTools spawner with a creative power cell attached to it to provide RF. Inside of the spawner is a 100% full syringe of creeper.
There is one matter beamer with another creative power cell attached to it. It has a redstone torch below it to provide a RS signal. Inside of the beamer is a stack of dirt. I've checked several times to make sure that the beamer is attached to the spawner.
This should theoretically work according to the description in the manual, yet the beamer isn't beaming matter into the spawner. Nothing I've tried has gotten the beamer to work. What am I missing?
Edited to add: I guess it would help if I gave you what I'm running, huh? I'm running Minecraft Forge 1.12 ver 14.21.0.2341 (I haven't gotten any later versions than this to work) and RFTools 1.12.6.02beta (again, same problem).

Did you link the beamer to the spawner with the wrench?

Hi. I'm running a 1.7.10 server with a bunch of mods, including RFTools 4.23.
One of the players on my server was finally able to start assembling his own custom dimension using these dimlets. The next day, I enter the server and started doing some exploring on the overworld when I started seeing those dreaded what I believe are called chunk borders, sudden differences in terrain height, biome and shape in the terrain:
I'd like to know if RFTools Dimensions might be the cause of this, because these chunk borders started to pop up just after one of the players created and explored his first custom dimension.
I'm also running Realistic Terrain Generation and I'm not entirely sure if this is an RTG or an RFTools related issue. I also have no idea how I could possibly isolate the problem to see which mod is the culprit, if it even is caused by any of the two.
I'm really bummed out about this because chunk borders completely ruins it for me, it takes away all the fun of playing modded, for me at least. Is there anything I can do to fix this? If it involves deleting chunks, I'm fine by that.
EDIT:
Well frick. I've just downloaded an old backup copy of the world, in which that player didn't have any RFTools Dimension thingies yet, and loaded it in a singleplayer instance of the game, and I'm still seeing chunk borders pop up everywhere, even though they look different from what I've seen on the server. This might be an RTG issue. God, I don't know anymore. I have some other mods that have custom world gen. Man, isolating this problem is going to be so hard and time consuming, I might as well just give up my modded world and start over from scratch without RFTools and RTG, but they're awesome!
This is why I sometime hate modded Minecraft.
I'm pretty sure RFTools will not cause this kind of problem. It doesn't touch overworld worldgen at all

But can you please make the Storage scanner feel more fluid? I imagine this isn't as much of an issue when you're using the external storage blocks, but it seems silly to exclude every other possible storage method use ability. (fyi, i'm using AA storage crates with an item laser relay system for filtration) as for what I feel would make this more streamlined. First, I would add a button to see all inventories instead of just routable ones, this way I don't have to click around various inventories to keep my filtration system working. Secondly, I would make it so that I can craft things without having to pull them from the system, or at the very least add a button to pull all required items out for you automatically. I think these two changes would make the storage scanner feel better and make it more viable in general

ok, just a quick update, the scanned can craft with items directly from inventories, however, now it's not consuming said items in the crafting process. i'll go file an official bug report. Thankfully I believe I know the cause of it.

Hi. I didn't read the entire forum, so the question may have already been asked, but would it be possible to customize the gravity more? (Producing effects similar to Galacticraft?) I've used the No Gravity dimlet, but i didn't really notice a difference.
Also, is it possible to have more control of the placement of celestial bodies?
Is there a way to destroy or get rid of invisible shield blocks when u put them down on their own?
Right click them

No gravity is hard to do. The no gravity dimlet is currently not implemented. Galacticraft uses a very complicated system to achieve this
