Well frick. I've just downloaded an old backup copy of the world, in which that player didn't have any RFTools Dimension thingies yet, and loaded it in a singleplayer instance of the game, and I'm still seeing chunk borders pop up everywhere, even though they look different from what I've seen on the server. This might be an RTG issue. God, I don't know anymore. I have some other mods that have custom world gen. Man, isolating this problem is going to be so hard and time consuming, I might as well just give up my modded world and start over from scratch without RFTools and RTG, but they're awesome!
Did your list of worldgen mods change at any time? In particular, did you install RTG after the world was first created?
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
i have tried googling this and can't find answers. i looked in the config and only seems a few things i can disable in RFtools but i want to disable a lot of blocks/recipes
i really just want usage of the storage system, elevator, Redstone controls, signs,
Are you aware that your tutorial code at https://github.com/McJty/ModTutorials/tree/1.12 does not work? After removing the errors in the file caused by datablock, none of the blocks show up anywhere. I really, really need a mod tutorial showing how to create blocks - for 1.12.
I do need help ... I can't make hand or toes out of the dimensions ...
It seems I can't delete the dimension, even if the tab is reused
All dimensions are void so far ... I had one that was .... interesting (floating ore and stuff in wired shapes) but I took it apart by accident.
I tried tons of combinations ... all for naught so far ... I am so out of ideas that I just dumb everything I have into the next one.
1. How are you deleting the dimension?
2. Are you on SkyFactory or another void pack? There dimensions are (by the pack maker) restricted to void only

I've got a quick question about space cards and the Builder. Is there any way to set the offset for the copied structure like there is for the shape cards? I'm trying to use the builder to copy a pattern multiple times, but it's driving me nuts having to move the builder itself over and over and over and over and over to get each piece in oriented correctly. I'm hoping there's a super easy solution to this that I'm just missing, and my google-fu just isn't good enough to turn up a solution on my own. Halp?

That is unfortunatelly not possible. The time essence can only be used to create dimlets for a specific time. Not for the speedups. There is currently no solution for the speedups

Wow, the scanner-projector is looking pretty cool. I remember way back a person named CJB was trying something like this, it worked, but was a bit laggy and had a tendency to crash. It was more of a "holographic map display" type of thing.

To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.
Hi, I've only used the RFTools Builder twice now and I already love the mod. I do have a question about the builder:
When using a shape card, I noticed that you can remove projected support/preview blocks by right/left clicking on them. I guess I assumed that any blocks removed this way would then be ignored by the builder, but this is not the case. So my question: is there a way to prevent the builder from filling in spaces which have had their preview blocks manually removed? Or is this purely a visual thing?
I'm currently playing around with RFTools in the DW20 1.10.2 pack and I have three questions:
(1) When using shield projectors, I noticed that there is an unimplemented feature: make the shield blocks look like another block. I appear to recall that feature worked in the 1.7.10 version and I liked that quite a bit. Are there plans to reimplement it?
(2) When using storage filters with a quarry shape card in the builder, you can whitelist/blacklist the blocks you want to mine (Hey Direwolf20, this would've reduced power consumption quite a bit just by blacklisting stone/cobble, dirt etc. ). I tried to mine only yellorium and IC2 uranium ore, but caught other IC2 ores as well. I guess that's because IC2 uses metadata to distinguish between its ores. However, when I set the storage filter to match metadata, I mined absolutely nothing. Did I do something wrong?
(3) I tried to create a yellorium ore material dimlet but the material absorber didn't work on the ore. Neither did it work on IC2 uranium. Is that an intentional config feature of the pack or the mod or is this a bug?

Already reimplemented in the latest 7.00 which is still alpha.

By default material dimlets are no longer created automatically for every block in the game. You have to add those to the config manually

Running into a problem with the builder I've not encountered before... it has near infinite energy (over 3.5 million RF stored in a bank its connected to via cable with infinite capacity), it's always fully charged and it's connected to an output that has far more storage than it could possibly fill. It has a Shape Card (Clearing Quarry) in it set to Dimension 100,100,100 and Offset 55,0,0 and it works for a little while... but I've been letting it sit now for an entire night and it gets to Y level 44 of the first chunk and just stops working. No power use, no outputted materials... just dead. Am I doing something wrong?

How's the dimension building in this compared to Mystcraft? Can it spawn mod blocks, mobs and biomes? Pros and cons? Are the dimensions as interesting?
Also does it make random dimensions like Mystcraft? I'm considering using this one because Mystcraft doesn't seem to have support for Recurrent Complex.

Can you see what block it stops at? i.e. go to where it last mined and see if there is something special there
