Has anyone been able to get slime islands to generate using the recent updates? I have traveled over 10k blocks in distance in creative and I have yet to see a single slime island.

Yes. Quite a few with many other mods installed as well.

Weird.. I'll have to mess with the config a little. Maybe increase the spawn chance of them just to make sure. The only thing I disabled in the config is the surface ore gravels and a few of the bushes. I double checked all of the slime island settings and I should be getting them. More testing I guess..
am I the only one crashing when the try to get to the 3rd page of "materials and you vol 1" book? I try to get to the 3rd page and then it stops and then says "shutting down internal server" then gives me a crash report.

We can't actually help you without a crashlog, but let me guess: You're using Forge 1180? If so, update to 1208.

Can you please make a new suggestions forum? It felt like that was a really great place to go for discussion and collaboration on mod development. Also, There were some pretty good suggestions made on things like alloys, modifiers, and visuals on the last couple of pages in the old suggestions forum. It seemed like innerpower had a lot of good ideas. If you're reading this, KEEP POSTING! Finally, some Nether Oreberries would be really cool as a way to slowly collect Nether Metals. These Oreberries would be rare, of course.
Thanks for reading this post! (If you actually have)
I'm having a crash with Thaumcraft 4. Here's the report.

It depends on what Forge version you are using, and whether or not you posted the issue to the bug tracker.
My modpacks:
Brave New Worlds (exploration-based, FTB Launcher, pack code: BraveNewWorlds)
Song of the Earth (JamPacked 2, in development)

Try upgrading Forge. I suggest 1208. You are running 1180.

They are still around.
Thats because they were gone in a Dev build... and the official got updated to 1.7 and some dev stuff got added like the traveller gear iirc.

Well, the error report points to Waila, but I did notice your forge is too old for Thaumcraft. You should use Forge 1208.
I don't use thaumcraft and the topic is tinker's construct.
