Vending machine block places correctly and has json files and is textured properly. Still wont have a vending gui for some time as I never got it working on 1.7 anyway

Alright, this mod is now updated to 1.8.9. I have no idea how this will play with other mods considering most arent on 1.8.9 or if there is any bugs I havent found yet. All changes are in the 1.8.9 changelog on the first post. There isnt too much new other than coloured slime blocks and a WIP Vampire Slime.
Also did a minor fix for 1.7.10 and hopefully it fixed an issue someone had.
i have an idea for the slime villagers. if they could have a guard slime to guard the village from invader slimes. i think invader slimes could be a good added new thing to the villages.
the guard of the village will trade weapons for slime balls. hope this gets implemented. love the mod by the way.

Actually had an idea for a defensive slime for either villages or something else I was gonna work on at some point. Good idea
Never tried to make a custom model or particle before so I tried to make slime tiki torches. There is one for each kind of gel colour I have and each one has a particle effect the matches its colour
Just did a small update to the 1.7.10 version to fix a missing texture issue and to make certain structures spawn less as some people say they spawn too much
when/if u are going to add the village defenders and village invaders update. would think that it would make the slime villages more fun to have a scroll for that village building.

For a new boss to the mod, why not make Slimecula? He'd be a big Vampire Slime, and he'd have 300 health. The reason for this low health would be because he can regen 2 hp every time he hits you, and he can teleport, leaving a few bats behind where he previously was.
As for drops? Maybe he can drop a Dagger of Slimesteal, that can sap a very small amount of health from slime-like mobs.

Also v2.1.1 has been released. Nothing new added but fixes to the server side have been made which should hopefully allow this to be played on server again
Make some sort of Vampiric Tomb, where you have to right click a square coffin (at the end of a dungeon full of Vampire Slimes) to summon him.
Yeah maybe although I still have a lot to do with the sewers yet. Could make it a super rare version of wild vampire slimes or make it s summonable boss in the world when you build a certain structure (maybe a coffin shaped thing) or even just be the end boss of the sewers eventually. Dunno

Speaking of wild vampire slimes, they spawn very frequently around and in Jungle biomes. Is that a bug?

So I started work on the Knight Slime. Pretty much attacks any mob right now
looks good. im on vacation in florda. so i can not play the mod. it sucks. lol

You can change the spawn rate in the config but yeah they arent supposed to spawn THAT often
