Still a huge fan I have loved this mod since the very beginning, I allways add it to the servers that we play
Suggestions:
Glass trim
I seriosly miss that you can use galss for the trim in the workbench.
Having a wall or floor that is transparent, where the trim goes through, mess up the look and feel of the building.
Or in other words, the Trim is after all just a block, but when connected to a storage network items "go through", so why not just make it possible to use any valid building block as a trim
Modify compacting drawers.
I miss an option to either build the Compacting Drawers from scratch, like you do with Trims and Drawers in the Workvench
Alternatively you cold make it possible to just modify the Compacting Drawers in the Workbench.
The reason is that I would love to have the Compacting drawers to look like the other drawers.
Modify Slave and Controller.
As with the Compacting Drawers, it would be neat to modify the look of both the Slave and the Controller.
Stackable storage upgrades
When having huge amount of material, I miss being able to add more upgrades.
Usually I end up having a Void and a Filllevel and the rest is Emerald upgrades.
It would be nice to have the uppertunity to stack the upgrades, to lets say 16 upgrades.
Mayby one placeholder for each upgrade type, and only the storage upgrade stackable up to 16 upgrades.
Colored edge
When you add Storageupgrades, the edges are colored by the Storageupgrades version, it would be nice if this could be turned on an of individally pr. Drawer or mayby on the controller, so if you have multple networks you can configure them as pleased
When the edge indication is turned off, there could be an Icon, like the Void Icon on the drawers.
Fill level as the handle.
It would be great if the fill level upgrade, could be set to be drawn as the handle.
Or as a sidebar to the left or right (smaller in width).
This could be a option pr. drawer or the in the Controller.
Options: Normal (as it is today), Inside handle, skinny left edge, skinny right edge, skinny bottom
A new block for Void or no room.
When adding items, I often have use for either items that can not be added (all drawers occupied) or is voided.
It would be delicious, with a seperate slave like block that returns those items, with a n option to deliver Voided items or not.
The block/network should ignore this block, when manually clicking the controller.
Or make it an option in each Slave instead, so that you select this output or normal output and wether it should deliver Voided items.
A separate user interface block
Either a user interface block or make the slave also accept manually input, like the controller does.
I prefer to hide the controller, so that I can connect to it directly, when adding huge amount of items, like from a quarry, makes the client lag less.
Liquid.
I suppose several people has asked for this, so I vote for this as well
Hey, so I went from 1.12.2 to 1.15.2 because of friends doing so and I am having an issue with the locking key feature. So an example to explain the problem is as follows: I fill a Storage Drawer(Any drawer, does not matter if it is half drawer, single full drawer, 2x2 drawer, or compacting drawer, nor does the material matter) with an item lets say OAK LOGS and then lock the drawer with the Drawer Key. So if anything or anyone empty's the Oak Logs it will be locked to it and cant be refilled by hand or with any auto sorting systems with anything but Oak Logs, but here is where the issue happens I empty the locked drawers of the item and then either get of for the night or leave the chunk there for unloading the chunk and when I come back the empty drawer is still locked but shows no item and accepts any random item their for can not be connected to a auto sorting system like Refined Storage or AE 2 their for making this mod almost useless for anything but early-game storage. Any additional info u need plz contact me but remember as it does not cause a crash there is no crash log.
I play on MC1.12.2 with the mods "Storage Drawer", "Applied Energitics 2" and "Underground Biomes".
I have a problem with the "Convention Upgrade", the Oredict function does not work with the "Certus-ore". there are tips and tricks to fix this.
ps. other ores such as iron, copper and gold work without problems

You may need to manually add the correct ore dictionary to "oreDirectories" yourself as described here.
I have no time to test this myself, but I hope this helps.
I think that the "oreDirectories" were set correctly. I cannot put the "chert-certus quartz ore" in a "drawer" where "ryolite-certus quartz ore" is already in it, although there is a "convention upgrade" in this "drawer".
I've seen that "oreCoal" doesn't work either. I was able to fix this problem by adding "oreCoal" to the whitelist.
I have also added "oreCertusQuartz" to the whitelist according to the same principle, this works now partially, because he now also adds "oreChargedCertusQuartz".
I have already tried to write the following in the whitelist:
"oreCertusQuartz, -oreChargedCertusQuartz" but unfortunately without success.
even an entry in the blacklist did not lead to any result.
Is there any way to add custom rules for compacting drawers? I'm trying to get endstone and compacted endstone working with the drawers in my Skyfactory 3 server, but I can't figure out where to modify this. The drawers already work with compacted netherack and other Ex Compressum blocks.

In Skyfactory 3, is there both:
- A recipe from 4 (2x2) End Stone -> Some compressed block
- A recipe from 9 (3x3) End Stone -> Some compressed block
?
That would explain why Storage Drawers can not automatically determine how to interpret a compressed form of End Stone in drawers.

Hi, I have made the upgrade template but none of the storage update receipes seems to work any suggestions?
The 1.19.2 versions are only beta versions and the last Github activity was in July. It seems like the developer is taking a break.
+ this forum thread is the last place you should look for information.

At first glance, it seems to me like the versions for MC 1.16.3 also work on 1.16.4 and -5.
I don't know how complete these versions are. I'm still playing on 1.12.2.
