I'm really confused right now... I tried using this mod in a pack, without knowing that it isn't supposed to work in packs, and it crashed. Just now, I tried again (after adding MORE mods to the pack) and it works. Not only that, but I don't even have baubles installed... Will report back after trying baubles
EDIT: haven't got around to trying it with baubles, but I did notice something strange, which is that even after I uninstalled Legendgear 2 the first time. the "magic protection" enchantment was still in the game, and fully functional. Very strange.
It isn't not suposed to work in modpacks, the modmaker just does't want people including his mod in official modpacks at this stage of development. It works just fine with other mods.

Oh. Well that still doesn't explain all the strange occurrences I've had recently XD
Anyone know what the phoenix charm does? Doesn't give lava immunity...
EDIT: found out what it does. If you would die by fire or lava, it heals you, and gives you fire resist and resistance for 5 seconds. It is used up in the process.
Had another thought. Using infused stardust to restore "durability" to magical staves and tomes by simply combining them in a crafting grid. Restores say...1/3 of the durability.
And I don't allow apps that may change my whole computer.
... you're joking, right? You do realize that a .cfg file is simply a text file? The only way it could affect anything at all, let alone settings on your computer, is if you ran a program designed to use that config file.
Minecraft mod config files usually just change simple things within the mod, like 'this recipe is enabled / disabled'. If you are worried about the mod's config adversely affecting your computer, then you probably shouldn't even run the mod in the first place.

I'm not talking about that, I mean the app adding anything (Like a extra program or browser, or a different home page).

Hi. You're looking at the signature of a user that has pretty much quit Minecraft, but I might still be lurking. You can take a look if you want.

why call it an app if you know that it means adding a program? Notepad++ doesn't add anything like a different home page (and if you don't know how to change that or have sketchy ones installed you have bigger problems)
If you don't want to install "apps" why did you install minecraft then? It adds "a extra program".

NMcCoy is the creator of Legend Gear and it's earlier works (including the amulets). I think you have LegoBoy3D confused for NMcCoy.

What versions of forge will this work with/not work with?
Is there a way to disable falling stars?

Someone get me out of this god-forbidden place. I hate it.Uh why? they are just items that spontaniously drop from the sky, are they annoying people?
But you can change their drop frequency to 0 in the config.
I can't config it. I can't open the .jar, and on "Mods" The Config button is unclickable.

Why did I forget about the config file? Now lets hope the file isn't a .CFG...I can't open those types of folders without a app.
