The en_US.lang file isn't being generated in the lang folder either (it's meant to right?). Is this connected with the issue?
Well it's not having a problem loading the texture, so I'm wondering if it's conflicting with your resource pack.
I'll do some testing. Could you try loading without Sphax?

The issue still persisted when I loaded in a new world using the default texture pack, so i doubt the texture pack is an issue.
I'll reinstall minecraft and see how it goes.
EDIT: aaaand yep! Reinstalling MC fixed everything, something was probably screwed up somewhere. Sorry for the unneccesary hassle dmillerw! I'm going to spend a solid 10 hours with quadrum before creating a YT tutorial series on it, expect it soon!

Could you add a 'crop' type block that has can utilise the following variables:
(The variables don't have to be called these, they're just examples)
growthTime: (How long it takes to grow, either in ticks or Minecraft days)
harvestItem: (What items it drops when destroyed. If left blank, it drops nothing. If two numbers follow, this determines how many of that item drops, between the larger number and the smaller number. Eg. (3-1 ensures that at least 1 crop item can drop, and 3 is the maximum number that can drop.)
seeds: (Which item plants a growth level 0 of this crop? Automatically drops these as well as harvestItem)
regrowthBoolean: (Does this item regrow from a certain level when right-clicked? If true, 'harvestItem' is dropped on right click, and 'seeds' is dropped upon breaking.)
regrowthStage: (If 'regrowthBoolean' or 'growsBlock' is true, what regrowth stage does this crop fall back to? (growsBlock only regrows once the defined block that it spawned is harvested))
canBonemeal: (If true, this crop can be bonemealed. If false, it can't (i.e. sugar)
canGrowUp: (If true, this crop can add additional versions of itself when a growth tick is applied (Like sugar) If false, it can't (like wheat)
GrowthHeight: (If 'CanGrowUp' is true, how many blocks up can this crop grow? (eg. Sugar's level is 3))
naturalGeneration: (Can this crop naturally grow?)
naturalGenFrequency: (How rare this crop is, only works if the boolean 'naturalGeneration' is true.)
requiresFarmland: (Does this crop require farmland to be planted on?)
growsBlock: (if true, a block spawns connected to this crop when the growth stage is at 100% like a pumpkin or melon. )

While I wouldn't necessarily say it's meant for people to make full blown mods, I like it!

ok, the problem is when i add specialmobs and modify the normals mobs, my bad.
You mean like a random value between 1 and 3? You can simply use "1-3" as the drop value, and it'll pick a random number from that range.
Drops need to be separated with commas, and the last entry of the json file doesn't need a comma
