Poll: Which Update Should Be Next?
Ended Apr 8, 2015
The config is FandomCraft.cfg in your "config" folder, not in the menu in-game. I don't think that button has ever done anything.
Just change what you want and use the /fcreload command if you don't want to exit Minecraft to reload it after saving.
However; a friend and I both got the mod and wanted to play lan, we got the forge and it both works for us on our respective laptops. BUT when we try to play lan it crashes? For example: when he hosts the map, I join in just fine, if I move one block however, the game crashes. Same thing with him if I host the map. Have any idea why this happens?
The emeralds were supposed to give you buffs when held but for some reason they didn't, so I just made them into simply quest items to make the boss spawner. I'll try to do something else with them in the next update. As the there being only 6 emeralds, I never actually finished any Sonic game so I wasn't sure how many there were. When I Googled the emeralds several sources showed only 6 colours, so I assumed that there were only 6 d:
I have no experience with LAN since I only have one computer that can handle Minecraft.
But you should be able to use the multiplayer version on LAN. Try this.

Ethernet is amazing.
You should add content from Animal Crossing such as bug collecting or fishing. You should also add Animal Crossing villagers. They could be traded with and have their own village generation. This could be a useful alternative to the current setup you have right now with vanilla villagers which relies on random trade sets and multiple different currencies (emeralds, rupees, coins and rings). The multiple currencies is kind of frustrating to be honest. Perhaps, you could use one global currency system that is tied to the player rather than different types of items cluttering one's inventory.
Pokémon-Pokeballs to capture mobs in.
Mario-Mushrooms that give you strength and weakness, and Cat Armor and Cat Claws with the ability to climb walls.
Potato Gun-Potato Gun, not from anything, but because Potato Guns are cool.
Adventure Time (HUGE cult following)- Swords and weapons, tamable Jake.
#Baum4Mod
Totally forgot about that game. I'll definitely add that stuff in.
And yeah, I was afraid the currencies might be a bit annoying. I'm going to just stick to Rupees as the only currency for the mod in future updates.
Terraria stuff will be in the next update. Pokeballs will be added when there's more Pokemon (more downloads means more Pokemon). I'll add that Mario stuff to the Classics Update, whenever people vote for that. I'm definitely gonna add potato guns to the next update.
But things like Adventure Time I'm only going to add if someone else makes the textures for it. I really don't want to spend time making something from a show that I hate
i don't know where you found only 6 emeralds but ya there is 7 regular emeralds and i understand why you would just make them spawn chaos 0. if you want here is a image i found on Google that you can use for all 7 emeralds (i don't know which one you left out)
Sounds good to me. If you do choose to stick with rupees, you may wish to use a number value tied to the player instead of items. The current coins in the mod already could just be right clicked to be added to your 'gold'.
I could easily do that, but then I'd have to make an entirely new shop system from scratch :L
I might make a bank system where you can open a GUI to turn Rupees into a number value and the number value into Rupees whenever you want.
That could be really cool and adaptive and wouldn't have to depend on random vanillla trades. Diamonds to you!
I'm also completely redoing dungeon loot so you don't get Vanilla trash in Zelda dungeons, etc.
Some new things I'm adding are a mana bar and a display for the amount of Rupees you have:
Items will also have coloured names depending on their rarity and whether they're ammo, a quest item, a healing item, an event item or a few others.
I'll need to see your crash log to be of any assistance.
You have Java 8 which isn't supported by Minecraft yet. Uninstall it and get Java 7.
I uninstalled Java 8 and it still don't work
