They should be found in their respective posts. I only ever got around to making versions for AshenWheat and SteelyGlint...
However, now that someone has taken the mod-torch from akkamadi, I might get around to doing some others (looking at you, simple arsenic)
Ah, found them! Do I also have your permission to re-package them as 1.7.x resource packs? That's much handier than having a separate download for the whole mod.
Classical Alchemy 1.7.10-1.2.1 is an emergency bugfix, so if you are using Classical Alchemy for 1.7.10, please do update. I'm not sure how armor was rendering in 1.7.10-1.1.0, but it probably wasn't doing it correctly.
akkamaddiCore 1.7.10-1.0.2 adds in some utility classes to assist in ore generation (i.e., I replaced SimpleOre's helper classes with ones that check isOreReplaceable(), so upcoming Additions with ore generation should work with mods that replace vanilla stone, such as Underground Biome Constructs)). It should work with the already posted 1.7.10 additions, and will be requiredfor the upcoming ones.
I have ported and released the remaining unported "akkamaddi's Additions" mods:
Simple Cthon
Golden Glitter
Hadite Coal
Simple Cobalt
Simple Tungsten
Steely Glint
I have also updated "Simple Arsenic and Old Lace" and "Classical Alchemy" to look for their configuration files in the "akkamaddi" sub-directory of the config directory. Please note this change if you are already using earlier versions.
All of my ports of akkamaddi's Additions now look for and write their configuration files to the "akkamaddi" sub-directory, with the except of "Sterling and Black" which is waiting on the next major update. (i.e., I will fix the config file location in the next version).
All Additions that have ore generation REQUIRE akkamaddiCore 1.0.2 or later; if you're not sure, upgrade anyway. Ore generation should work with Underground Biomes and other mods that change basic stone types. (i.e., akkamaddiCore ore generation checks for IsOreGenReplaceable()). I haven't tested this with UB/UBC, so let me know if it doesn't work properly.
I removed the MediaFire download section because CurseForge seems to work fine and maintaining two different download sites for that many mods was getting tiresome.
Now that the initial ports are done and working, as time allows I will have a look at compatibility with other popular mods, I will look at the tiered loot issue (at the very least, I will add the ability to disable mob loot equipping), and start figuring out how to port to Alexandr's re-write of Simple Ores for 1.8....
I fixed a null reference crash in HandleArmor code in several mods. Please do update if you are using Simple Cthon, Simple Cobalt, or Simple Tungsten. The new versions are:
Are you or TheOldOnes going to port Simple Clay and Cobblestone, Simple Saplings, or the Fusion Spawner Eggs to 1710? These were minor mods made by him for easier resource gathering and would love to continue using them.
Nevermind. I found them. Kinda hidden unlike the ones here.
Has anybody else ran into a wither skele like this? I found this guy while going through a nether fortress. I ended up using too many items' enchanting feature to make the one of the most op dragonstone swords ever (smite and sharpness 127) and it didn't faze him. I have the slightest idea how I even got him down two health, to be honest. Is this a bug or what? I don't think the armor was enchanted either. (full Black Silver)
Edit: This was awhile back. I just now uploaded the vid, but yeah. I still don't get how he was so unkillable to this day. I started out legit, but started being cheatsy when it was apparently I couldn't do damage. (I also started recording after that same fact started becoming apparent.)
"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.
...a full set of Black Silver is better than diamond armor. I think I need to prioritize giving you the ability to turn off mob itemization in the mods. And make 'off' the default, since it is not set up to be tiered right now.
I am delaying adding my own tiered armor itemization routines until Alexndr releases the major overhaul that will be the next version of Simple Ores, as I will have to re-write all the Additions to work with it. I've brought up the issue with Alexndr since it appeared here, and perhaps he will put something I can hook into in his "Simple Core" revision; otherwise, I will be writing it myself. (As work and Real LIfe allows, I will be working on those re-writes).
However, as noted in the first paragraph, I can and should add a config option to turn off mob itemization. Not everyone wants withers in full Black Silver or zombies dropping Dragonstone axes. ;-)
That would be a bit of a problem, actually. Cthon ore does not smelt directly into cthon ingots--there's special processing required. If it is ore-dictified as "oreCthon", AOBD will auto-magically generate dustCthon; macerator/pulveriser/etc recipes will then grind oreCthon into 2x dustCthon, right? And then allow dustCthon to be smelted into ingotCthon, bypassing all the special processing. Cthon is supposed to be a rare, end-game material.
What I might do is register the "Elutriated Cthon Chunk" as oreCthon, because that's the stage that gets smelted in the furnace to produce one ingot. At that step, you're post-special processing, so ore-doubling via grinding to dust and smelting is no big deal.
I'm already starting to do something like that with "large chunk" fusion furnace products, so that they can be run through pulverisers and so on.
I have updated all of the Additions to add a config file option for "Equip mobs, true or false?". It defaults to false, so if you want random (and I mean RANDOM) Additions' armor and weapons on your undead hordes, go into the config file and enable it. Some config item categories were moved to "General", so you may need to check and re-enable recycling when you update.
I have also updated all the Additions to make their metal blocks useable as beacon bases.
In addition, Sterling & Black has been re-written to use akkamaddiCore, so if you have only used it before, if you update it, you will also need to download and install akkamaddiCore.
Finally, Sterling & Black's config file has been moved into the akkamaddi/ sub-directory along with all the rest of the Additions. It won't find it at the top level anymore, so move/edit your config file in the new location.
ETA: forgot to mention, fixed crashes due to not wearing armor in some slots with Sterling & Black and several other Additions.
I hate to do this but I got an issue here that may be messing up my worlds. Here is the crash log.
Update-I took out the mod listed in the crash log and was able to play the world again.

DoubleABuilder, upgrade to Sterling & Black 1.4.3. I found and fixed that crash, but forgot to put it in the patch notes.
ETA: This is also true of ClassicalAlchemy and Simple Tungsten, which also have armor sets with special effects.
Well I thought I had the latest version of it. I'll go and get it and see if that fixes the issue. I really don't want to lose this world as a Redwood Forest Island that has plenty of space to build on is just what I was wanting for my base plans.

Your crash log indicates you were using Sterling & Black 1.4.2. Don't forget to grab the latest akkamaddiCore, too, because S&B now requires it.

What I meant was at the time I updated to 1710 it was the latest and then a newer version of it came out and I didn't know about it. I had the core downloaded when I made the initial update. So far nothing bad has happened.
I am aware of Simple Ores-2 update to 1.5.1+ and SimpleCore API. I am working on porting stuff, but it will be a major re-write, since the API has changed so drastically. Please bear with, and keep using Simple Ores 2. v 1.4.3 with akkamaddi's Additions for now.
I have uploaded akkamaddiCore 2.0.0 and Simple Tungsten 1.5.1. These are for use with Alexndr's Simple Core + Simple Ores 2 + Fusion 1.5.1+. They have been tested with the 1.5.1 versions. I have flagged them as 'Beta' until I get all the rest of the mods re-written, just to minimize confusion. The older versions are, of course, still available.
Does anyone care which one I tackle next? I did Simple Tungsten first as it forced me to cover everything that needed to be re-written: armor, weapons, ore generation, ore blocks, fusion recipes, etc.
I have removed monster loot equipping for now, because I am still not happy with balancing it, and it was holding up getting the re-writes done. I almost think monster loot should be a separate mod. Has anyone else done something with that?
Ah, found them! Do I also have your permission to re-package them as 1.7.x resource packs? That's much handier than having a separate download for the whole mod.

Should I make the mostly-untested beta version available?

Does anyone care which one I tackle next? I did Simple Tungsten first as it forced me to cover everything that needed to be re-written: armor, weapons, ore generation, ore blocks, fusion recipes, etc.
I have removed monster loot equipping for now, because I am still not happy with balancing it, and it was holding up getting the re-writes done. I almost think monster loot should be a separate mod. Has anyone else done something with that?
