when i make a recipe then quit my game then go back in i have to remake my recipe
What version are you using, and could you provide a little more information, such as, what other mods are you using (if any) and things like what operating system are you on.
i'm using version 1.1.0, mods are near on 100 but i'm using pink slimes from primitive mobs, blue slimes from more mobs mod and the wheel from mc+ plus vanilla sticks and the different slimes to make jelly from the jelly cubes mod. i'm using windows 8.1 64 bit, 64 bit java, 1.4ghz processor, 4+4gb ram (dedicated 4gb to minecraft)
I can't seem to get the mod to work. I've used it before with no problem, but when I'm downloading it now, it's like the mod doesn't even register. I'm not sure if I'm downloading/installing it correctly? I'm clicking download ZIP on github and tried putting the zip in, the folder inside the zip, the folders inside that folder, but I can't get it to work :/

There is a known bug with 1.1.0 where sometimes recipes won't save when you have a lot of mods installed, this has been fixed in the new beta version, which I'd suggest swapping to. I'm about at the point where I will no longer support versions 1.x.

What you need to do, is go onto the github and go to releases, and click the download there, the download zip is downloaded the source code for the mod, and not the actual release.
ok thanks, i'll give it a try now. you may want to update your op a bit as it says 1.1.0 is your newest release but i just got 2.3.0 off your github page
nah the recipes are still not saving. love the new gui though, easy to use an looks good

If the recipes still aren't saving it could be a problem with where your minecraft is installed, note that the recipes are per world now and will only work on the world you create them on.
i created the recipes in a creative test world, thats the world i've been trying it on. what do you mean by where i have my minecraft installed? it went into the %appdata%/roaming/.minecraft folder on my pc

If you have a custom minecraft save location it could break the recipe saving, due to not having permission to write in the folder, but in the .minecraft folder it should be fine. I can't imagine why the recipes wouldn't be saving, do you think you could post the log from the game? You can find it in .minecraft/logs/latest.log it's just a text file.

Sorry I haven't been around, I don't get on the computer much during the week, as for the bug you've mentioned, there's not much I can do without any sort of error log, as I can't know what's wrong without one. If you can post some log info maybe I can help.
Haven't seen any posts in a while and thought I'd check in. This is my first favorite building mod. Pam's Harvestcraft Mods get first slot because she's been around longer. I wanted to urge you to update an submit this mod to the Mods list, if it hasn't been done already. This cool little mod fills every little hole except dying stone blocks and making them glow. You deserve to get more credit for your work. Best holiday wishes.

Yeah I haven't been around in a while, been spending a lot of time with the family for the holidays, probably won't be much going on until after the new year, that said even then the mod is pretty close to an actual stable release, it seems like there are still some bugs to fix, but I can't think of anymore features to add at the moment, of course if theres any good suggestions that I feel fit the theme and wouldn't be too difficult to implement, I will try implementing them, really all that's left though is to clean up some of the code, squash a bug or two, and clean up the UIs, then I'll probably be done with the mod (although I'll work on updating to 1.8 once there's a good stable and verified forge version). As for the mod list thing, I've submitted this mod 3 times now, and it was never added so I've given up on that.

Hey everyone, thanks for the support, now I guess I should be honest here, I've not really done anything with this mod in a while now, I just can't seem to bring myself to work on it at the moment, and now I'm going to be busy with another project for some time and I just don't see me getting the time to fix all of the bugs in the mod as it is. This isn't to say I'm never going to work on this mod again, but as of right now, I don't know when I'll get time to work on it. That said this mod is open source and anyone is allowed to download said source and do what they like with it, so if you enjoy this mod and you have some programming skills, I welcome you to work on it yourself. All this said, if I do get some time and I can figure out what's causing all these bugs, I will most definitely fix them and put out an official release. Once again thanks for all the support.

I realize the links were broken in the main post were broken, I've removed the old download links and put in the link to newest version, version 2.3.0. Sorry for anyone that inconvenienced.

Looks like you're using an old version of the mod, the current beta version is 2.3.0, this report is for 2.0.0
