Well, I dont know why Im asking, since Im probably gonna go do it anyway.
@TheEnlightened It uses the Ore Dictionary so will effect any mods that uses the same names. I did keep iguana_mans gregtech entries but have not used gregtech myself.
Also that is the default settings I kept from iguana tweaks. It can be changed in the config if there is anything you want added.
@Pixelated Configs are in a new folder from my old betas on the iguana tweaks thread but the format is the same.

A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good to see the lapis crashes I was experiencing was fixed in this version, but I am having one issue, according to the features list whether or not a vanilla tool recipe is disabled should be based upon whether or not its T-Con equivalent is restricted, so I made sure that the wood and flint heads for axes, shovels, and swords were all enabled, and that the option to allow stone tools that have flint equivalents was also enabled since I need the vanilla tools for Ars Magica 2, fired up my test world, but wooden and stone swords were still uncraftable. I tried all the other vanilla tools for those materials and they worked just fine, only the sword recipes were still disabled, and annoyingly it's the stone sword in particular that I need the most. Is there any chance of seeing a fix for this as setting up a wither skeleton farm just to get stone swords to make my magic missile spell would be rather annoying.
wood and stone sword removal triggers on wood toolRod (1) AND wideGuard (6). I could change that if you like but am inclined to add it to the notes in the config.
Edit: TiC now has a "Remove Vanilla Tool Effectiveness" option so I'll be adding a "keep Restricted vanilla Tools" option for use with mods that need them for recipes.
Ah, okay, yes a note in the config would be sufficient I would think. Thank you for clarifying that for me, I'll be sure to edit my config accordingly.
Um, I'm having some problems with my config. I've restructured a few things and built up a new tier made solely of steel. However in-game tests show that my changes aren't taking the correct effect: Redstone can still be broken by iron, diamonds can be broken as expected, but obsidian can't be broken by anything. It's wierd.
Can you add a config option to allow/ disallow Ticon's normal additional modifier recipes?
Oh by the way Thank you so much for that config for modifier random blacklist. I can deal with badluck on most cases.. but fireaspects probably the one that can probably make or break a weapon for some.

And that is why it is still in beta! The ModifierTweaks class witch allow the diamond mod to harvest obsidian needs to be called after the HarvestLevelTweaks class to work but was being called before.
EDIT: Beta 2 up. Fixes ModifierTweaks/HarvestLevelTweaks call order, attempts to fix Redstone Harvest Level not changing and adds an option to keep Ticon's normal additional modifier recipes.

Thank you SO much for your continued work Old One-San or Mr. Old One or whatever you wish to be called. I will definitely report my findings once I get my computer back.
I'll probably need help with the 1.7.x port. I'll look into porting when the 1.7.x TiC is closer to stable. mDiyo says there will be no 1.7.2 of TiC as there is a bug in that version of minecraft that cannot be worked around so a port may not happen until forge for a later 1.7.x is out.
Well, I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully 1.7.9 is viable, I heard there were forge tests going on for it.
Just curious, what is the main problem with 1.7.2 at the moment? I've been messing around on there and haven't had many problems from a player perspective. Even the 1.7.2 dev tconstruct seems pretty stable.

Kill two stones with one bird whenever possible
Ah, okay. I have a bad habit of never updating my mods. Not sure how well fit that makes me to make a modpack but, I'MA DO IT!!!

Edit: TiC now has a "Remove Vanilla Tool Effectiveness" option so I'll be adding a "keep Restricted vanilla Tools" option for use with mods that need them for recipes.

Oh by the way Thank you so much for that config for modifier random blacklist. I can deal with badluck on most cases.. but fireaspects probably the one that can probably make or break a weapon for some.

You have plans to move it to 1.7.x in the future?
Just curious, what is the main problem with 1.7.2 at the moment? I've been messing around on there and haven't had many problems from a player perspective. Even the 1.7.2 dev tconstruct seems pretty stable.
