Another problem: squeletons can see and fire through hi-tech doors. You should fix that!
Also, for Reinforced door, you should block the player movement if the door is not completely open.
For hi-tech doors, the movement shoud be autorised only if the door is more than 1/2 open.
1st - Hi-Tech door is 1 block sized, other is entity or something like that (just no collision for arrows and no barrier for skeletons line of sight).
2nd - Door class have only 2 stages: open, closed. It also changes instantly, just impossible to have half-open condition by stock class.
Same issue as reported above about the transparent doors. Using version 1.11.2-6.1.3 and they are transparent. No texture packs. However it is imporant to note that the position of the door seems to be reevant. For example if you are "behind" the door then it would appear invisible, however in other cases if you are in "front" of the door then you see it just fine. It appears the bug might be related to the position/perspective of the player and the door rendering. Yes I am using other mods as well. So it could be a compataibility issue with another mod. I'd be happy to provide a mod-list if needed but in looking at the list, I can't see anything that might conflict with the door/texture or rendering with the exception of MAYBE ElecCore | Rendering Library
Here are some images that perhaps you can use as reference points for the player's angle and when the bug occurs:
Just now trying with just Malisis Doors and vanilla default resource pack. Will report back if the bug occurs again.
Edit: Okay, seems bug happens even with no 3rd party resource packs as long as there's a trapdoor nearby the regular doors. No idea why.
Edit2: Happens with fence gates as well. Only fixes itself if the fence gate/trapdoor is far away from any regular doors. This must be fixed, or it shall ruin my builds.
So,the mod crashes on its own, like it itself with the core just crashes. here's the report

Took me a couple days, but I made a coremod that changes a couple methods in the doors class to enable placing doors on stairs. The download is available here: Mediafire download
EDIT: ...okay, currently it only works in an obfuscated environment. I'll work on patching that bug.
Kudos to you for that. I'll be keeping my eyes open for the fix. I've always thought it completely silly that a door cannot be placed such that it will open over a gap, such as right at the head of a flight of stairs.
I love this mod but please if you can , make it work with optifine. Separately they work and this may be optifine's fault , but together they are crashing my game.

1.12-7.0.4. Solves the transparent doors. But now all vanilla doors have the checkered missing-texture.
