I haven't been able to reproduce this bug. I may have seen a horse choke on a dirt wall once, but nothing on the scale that users here have been reporting. Perhaps it's an incompatibility with a different mod. So anyone who sees this bug: can you try again with only Repose and Farseek mods loaded, and let me know? And if it still happens, perhaps post a picture or video? Thanks.
Try adding Primitive Mobs and disable everything but the chameleons. Turn the chameleons up to spawn a lot. Then just stand in a field and listen to them hurting themselves
I was thinking they stumbled into a patch of poison ivy (Biomes o' Plenty I think), but no, it appears to be every time they step up anywhere.
I'd be still on the lookout for that combo bug (the one that killed my multiplayer server map with its duplicating soul sand), but given the suffocation bug I'm gonna bow out of this mod for a while. I hope you manage to fix it because it really is quite pleasant to be able to walk up areas like this!
Note: You might consider making it so animals that are under a block high don't treat the land like a slope but like vanilla blocks, having to jump up. Might be a bit more realistic anyway, and could get rid of the problem (potentially).
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
My YouTube channel is currently on hiatus, but I hope to get back to it at some point. Content is fairly random, but can be enjoyable, and is mostly game footage (mostly random Minecraft clips) from my nephews and me. Most popular MC vid so far is the one Vechs laughed at on Twitter!
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
TONS OF THEM GregTech for example. I use over 100 mods. Shall I check every block?
Nah, just an example or two. Blocks that are soil/granular and that you feel should slope or collapse. I can't garantee I can make adjustments to include every modded block but I can take a look.
And I was just thinking the same thing about all the Abbyssalcraft grasses and stones - you've got those ores listed though. Atum too but this is really getting into a territory of how far to config / interact with other mods present.
I.E. uids abyssalcraft:darkstone abyssalcraft:abystone abyssalcraft:dreadstone abyssalcraft omotholstone
and abyssalcraft:darkgrass abyssalcraft:dreadgrass
Also, the config option is likely best as TiCon slime islands falling out of the sky b/c dirt collapse is turned on can be a bit too much.

This mod seems to be severly lagging my game even when the chunks have been loaded for a while. I get 60 fps, out of my normal 120.
I just released v1.2.4 which should fix some of the bugs reported above. Changelog:
This is also the first version of Repose to be open-sourced on GitHub, so you can see how it works internally: https://github.com/delvr/Repose
My mods:
Is there a way to add modded blocks? (GregTech, Chisel, Railcraft...)
WTF Are you mad?
It looks like trees are losing their leaves

I don't care about this, it's the tornado mod. I stand in the dirt when I use this mod, can you get it?
Sorry to hear that, what other mods are you using? Do you get the same FPS drop when using only Repose?
My mods:
I had the same experience.
Did you check this? > http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/unmodified-minecraft-client/tutorials-and-faqs/1871637-tutorial-allocate-more-memory-for-minecraft
Also, there is this mod called Fastcraft and Optifine...they help a lot with this mod!

Do you have an example of modded blocks that should slope, but don't?
Also I see you posted a crash report earlier, did that turn out to be due to another mod?

My mods:
I have to admit, that's a really good question? Is there a config file that allows adding blocks to Repose that count as granular?
If not, is that a doable thing?
Be nice to be able to add a mods block to the config. All blocks by Underground Biome Constructs do not act as a slope as well.
Try any ore from GregTech 5 or Appliedenergistics2
