I downloaded the same mods you're using and updated java to the same version. My setup is exactly the same, but I don't see a crash. This is frustrating. I went over the tutorials for using simple network wrapper in case I made mistake in my snw implementation. I don't see anything wrong. The only thing I can think of is adding OpenEye in hopes that it catches something the crash log doesn't.
Wow, you really did all that? Thanks for the effort, and i'm sorry that you didn't find anything. I may try the laborious incremental methodology, where you start with a fresh install and the troublesome mod, then add mods until you get the crash. I'll get back to you.
[quote=Jimboboulett;/members/Jimboboulett;/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/2076302-universal-coins?comment=72]There you go, it's not the same installation anymore, but it still crash on creating new worlds.

Well, it doesn't even work alone here! Maybe it got corrupted so i'll download it again, or maybe it's not compatible with forge 1208?

Just a little side note man is when I get Ticking memory connection crashes its either because I gave Minecraft to much memory or not enough either heap or permgen .
As you can see in the new crash report, I lowered the memory to 2G...
new download and it still crashes, all is left is forge 1208, but if I upgrade it thaumcraft (and probably a few other) won't work. I'll see tomorrow if i'm motivated.
I've found two other crash logs with the same symptom. Both were not using UC. They both had the same XX:HeapDumpPath=MojangTricksIntelDriversForPerformance_javaw.exe_minecraft.exe.heapdump.
Can you remove that flag and see if it clears things up? If this doesn't fix it maybe a fresh reinstall of minecraft and forge might? It's almost 11pm and I've been up since 5am. Hopefully we can resolve this tomorrow.
I would like people to be able to buy and sell items for different prices.
e.g. Sell a diamond for 10 coins, but require 20 diamonds to purchase one.
Something like:
B:"BuyMultiplier"=1.0
B:"SellMultiplier"=1.0
In the main .cfg file, which could then be applied to all the other prices.
P.S. Absolutely adore this mod, it's works well and looks great and really shows that you've put so much thought into what people need from an economy mod.

I have thought about implementing this too, but keep getting sidetracked by other things. I was thinking the buy prices are already set by the configs so we only need a sell ratio multiplier to make this work. I'll put it on the list of things to do for the next release.
Thanks
If anyone else is experiencing the crash like Jimboboulett has, change the "Update Check" from true to false in the .minecraft/config/universalcoins.cfg file. The mod tries to check for updates and fails badly when a network connection is not found.
I have already tried with Forge 10.13.0.1208 and it's still failing. Exactly the same exception.
Thank you anyway.
I see the buildcraft api is required for the correct working of universal coins. I downloaded only UC. Is buildcraft required to run UC? I'm thinking it's the lack of a library what's causing this error.

Okay, I reinstalled UC after many other mods and the problem is "magically" resolved. I don't know what hapened, maybe the launcher got auto updated and got some compatibilities...

Hey. Thanks for commenting this post on my thread. This looks really cool, but sadly for my family's LAN server, we are on 1.7.10, while this (As far as I can see from quickly scanning the post) is only on 1.7.2. But I will be constantly watching this, so good luck mate.

Damn bro its not to hard to see the title of the thread says 1.7.10-1.7.2 . I am nodding out with my head hitting my keyboard , and I see it. Works on 1.7.10 I have been running it on 1.7.10 for awhile now .

Yeah. I literally just noticed it as I clicked the notification icon for new replies. I feel stupid now, lol. Thanks mate.
So using the current version of the mod i can not put coins or anything that isnt an atm card in the vending block to purchase items the coins just vanish in the vendor block.

This is happening to me too, the coins don't seem to completely vanish, the owner of the vending block can still get them out, but they're not made available to use for purchases.
yeah the server i run is using unlimited mode for the shops so this causes a big problem ive already warned them but hopefully it gets fixed soon.
This sounds like a major bug I just got my replacement laptop yesterday and almost have everything setup so I can code again. I will try to rollout an update today that fixes this and a few other bugs.

As you can see in the new crash report, I lowered the memory to 2G...
Can you remove that flag and see if it clears things up? If this doesn't fix it maybe a fresh reinstall of minecraft and forge might? It's almost 11pm and I've been up since 5am. Hopefully we can resolve this tomorrow.
you'll tell me about this UC thing, how to remove that flag.
Anyway, thanks for your help
Damn bro its not to hard to see the title of the thread says 1.7.10-1.7.2 . I am nodding out with my head hitting my keyboard , and I see it. Works on 1.7.10 I have been running it on 1.7.10 for awhile now .
Yeah. I literally just noticed it as I clicked the notification icon for new replies. I feel stupid now, lol. Thanks mate.
This is happening to me too, the coins don't seem to completely vanish, the owner of the vending block can still get them out, but they're not made available to use for purchases.
This sounds like a major bug I just got my replacement laptop yesterday and almost have everything setup so I can code again. I will try to rollout an update today that fixes this and a few other bugs.
