Quick question to the devs - I had a map I was working on with this mod for a while, but with the latest version it definitely doesn't seem to work. How unlikely is it that maps made previously will be compatible with newer versions of this mod? I don't want to reboot the project if it won't work the moment the mod's updated. Thanks.

I'd need to know what exactly doesn't work anymore.
It is quite likely that a map generated previously with this mod won't work anymore or will be missing some blocks, but that's to be expected because so far there are only early dev builds of the mod.

Crossing my fingers this is compatible with WildyCraft, that's the only real 'big' mod that i have in my modpack, and it seems like the only mod that might get in the way of me adding The Betweenlands to the modpack.
Nope, not for another few updates I reckon. Don't worry, there's plenty of content to keep you busy though
The new structures look great! I am excited to try them out with my friends. (We are opening a private server, Open to D.E.Vs, Not that you guys would care).

Yes, hello? I got a suggestion to make. I see that there still isn't a way to summon or find the Dreadful Peat Mummy, I composed a simple idea to summoning the beast.
First, one will have to make the Shimmerstone Offering. I have already made a texture as seen here: . The Shimmerstone Offering will require 5 Shimmerstones, some Reed Rope, and a Syrmorite Ingot to be crafted. It will then have to be Animated for 45 Sulfur, and require 25% charge of a Life Crystal.
From there, you will have to go to a Sludge Plains biome and then right click on a 3x3 space of Mud. The Shimmerstone Offering item will disappear from your inventory, and you will have a Green "rope" (kinda like the Lead item in Minecraft) attached to you and the ground, and you will have to "tug" on the rope. Once "tugged" hard enough, the rope will break, and the Shimmerstones will be consumed.
From there, the Dreadful Peat Mummy will begin rising- so it's kinda like you "fished" the Dreadful Peat Mummy out of the mud.
The final step? Just kill the Dreadful Peat Mummy, and you'll be fine.

Also are they just dungeon towers with loot at the top? I thought they were boss towers. Also where does the dreadful peat mummy spawn?
Yes, at least for now. The structure with the boss is the Wight Fortress. The Dreadful Peat Mummy can't be spawned yet, but we'll implement that very soon.

Will the Druid circles spawn in modded swamp biomes using the forge biome dictonary? Would be really cool if they do. If they do it would also be great if we could chose in which of the swamps it wouldn't generate.

This is a stand alone mod. If they do anything like that, It will probably be added much later.

Heavenly hunter.
Spanws in the sky.
Health: 25-35 HP.
Attack: 10-19 Damage.
Drop: Sting, Hunter's hearth.
Description: Flying wasp-like creature with hands. Heavenly Hunter shooting acid to enemy, paralyzing him and kill him.
H.Huter can take Player and drop it from a great height.
Nice Idea but we already have the wights special ability which is incredibly annoying for people starting out
