Hi there, I'm trying to run this mod in a custom modpack and it seems to conflict with Flan's Mod when a mob is shot with one of the weapons from the latter mod. The crash happens serverside and clientside. I've included the server log here:

Hello, I'm trying to add this mod to my modpack but my game crashes and the log says something about the betweenlands causing it

Project Red Relocation doesn't seem completely without blame here either. I would look at that mod first, since last I checked, it hadn't updated to MC 1.12 yet.

I waited this long because for the longest time the incessant "1.7.10 when?" comments got really annoying to some of you guys, and I can understand that. Also, I'm not asking mods that were never in 1.7.10 to be ported over, that would be a lot more work. And now that support for 1.7.10 has been completely dropped by almost all modders I wanted to remind you guys that we're still here. I know that any individual modder has a very small chance to do this, but I thought if I asked enough maybe someone would. Thank you for your time.

At this point, those incessant "1.7.10 when?" comments are not just annoying anymore. By now they are basically ridiculous.
1.7.10 is over 5 years old and Forge for 1.12.2 has been out for almost 1,5 years. Basically, don't expect any mod support anymore for any MC version before 1.12, let alone development.
NB: There's no problem with playing modded 1.7.10, I even do that myself sometimes, but please understand that you are just a small minority in that.

We can only help you if you send the crash log. File size doesn't mean much regarding performance - most of it comes from the mod's sounds and music anyways which doesn't impact performance at all, so I doubt that's what's causing your crash. Maybe you have allocated too little memory to the game, but I can't know without the crash log.

not sending or reporting issues will result in no issue being fixed. There are not 1/6 of the planet playing the game anymore so if you don't report it it probably won't get fixed
I still cant start this mod with OptiFine. I use Betweenlands 3.4.4 and OF from D1 to E3 versions
If i put OF in mods/1.12.2/optifine or mods/1.12.2/OptiFine_1.12.2_HD_U_E3, for example, OF not working.
If i put OF in mods/1.12.2/ i see this
sounds like an asm incompatibility either optifine or the betweenlands asm is improper either way support should be able to still happen as many people have done it before

Hi there, I'm trying to run this mod in a custom modpack and it seems to conflict with Flan's Mod when a mob is shot with one of the weapons from the latter mod. The crash happens serverside and clientside. I've included the server log here:

Is betweenlands compatible with Optifine in general or not at all?
I've been using it with Optifine, no problem (as far I can tell from the testplay)
In 1.12.2 had to put it into an extra folder tho (unlike in prior versions)
mods -> 1.12.2 -> optifine
having Optfine directly in the mods folder would crash (at least on my end), So I guess, that is always worth a try.
Hey, just going to my favorite mods that had 1.7.10 versions in somewhat recent history, and asking if any new content will be ported over. I waited this long because for the longest time the incessant "1.7.10 when?" comments got really annoying to some of you guys, and I can understand that. Also, I'm not asking mods that were never in 1.7.10 to be ported over, that would be a lot more work. And now that support for 1.7.10 has been completely dropped by almost all modders I wanted to remind you guys that we're still here. I know that any individual modder has a very small chance to do this, but I thought if I asked enough maybe someone would. Thank you for your time.

Curse PremiumAt this point, those incessant "1.7.10 when?" comments are not just annoying anymore. By now they are basically ridiculous.
1.7.10 is over 5 years old and Forge for 1.12.2 has been out for almost 1,5 years. Basically, don't expect any mod support anymore for any MC version before 1.12, let alone development.
NB: There's no problem with playing modded 1.7.10, I even do that myself sometimes, but please understand that you are just a small minority in that.

This mod seems to have so many files it overloads my game and it crashes. I'm using Forge 14.23.5.2807.

Curse PremiumWe can only help you if you send the crash log. File size doesn't mean much regarding performance - most of it comes from the mod's sounds and music anyways which doesn't impact performance at all, so I doubt that's what's causing your crash. Maybe you have allocated too little memory to the game, but I can't know without the crash log.

not sending or reporting issues will result in no issue being fixed. There are not 1/6 of the planet playing the game anymore so if you don't report it it probably won't get fixed
I still cant start this mod with OptiFine. I use Betweenlands 3.4.4 and OF from D1 to E3 versions
If i put OF in mods/1.12.2/optifine or mods/1.12.2/OptiFine_1.12.2_HD_U_E3, for example, OF not working.
If i put OF in mods/1.12.2/ i see this
sounds like an asm incompatibility either optifine or the betweenlands asm is improper either way support should be able to still happen as many people have done it before
I also tried older versions Betweenlands but everything looks just like i wrote in the post above
