This adds a couple new liquids (Hot Water, and Spring Water) and food (Boiled fresh and leather, Detoxified Spider Eye ) into Minecraft.
Blocks/Items:
Hot Spring Biome: A nearly flat plain where you can find and collect Spring Water. Although rare, they can be found near snowy biomes.
Hot Water: Will boil you to death if bath in it for too long, and can be used as an very weak furnace fuel. Items will not be destroyed when they come in contract with the hot water. Foods such as steak, pork, fish, rotten flesh, leather, and spider eye can be cooked by throwing them into hot water. Obtained by smelting a Water Bucket in a furnace.
Spring Water: Will quickly recovers your health, and remove all negative status effects(Note: it won't be able to remove status effects added by other mods ). Your health will also slowly regenerate at the cost of your hunger.Can be crafted by placing Hot Water on top of Stone with Lava under it (Like so), the Hot Water have an 50% chance per tick to change into Spring Water.
Detoxified Spider Eye: Crafted by tossing regular spider eye into a hot water block, will restore one hunger bar without causing poison.
Boiled Fresh- Crafted by tossing rotten flesh into a hot water block, will restore two hunger bar without causing hunger.
What is super heated lava, and how do I get it it. What does it do?
How can I get hot water?
When hot and spring water mix with regular water, regular water gets destroyed. It's really odd.
Super Heated Lava is a hidden liquid that you can get by cooking lava in a furnace. As for what it do... Lets say don't put it down unless you want a "+"-shaped hole to the void in your world.
You can get hot water by cooking a regular water bucket in your furance.
The hot and spring water displaces regular water due to how they are coded to interact with other liquid. (Now that I think of it I should change that or at least add a steam effect so they'll be like hydrothermal vents).
i have a little suggestion for this mod (is a great mod, keep like this dude);
the process to create hot water could be done in a cauldron? you put a fire underneath the cauldron and then you place water, after some time it boils and you can throw food in or you could take it and move somewhere else
That is a good idea!
Also, from looking at the screenshot it looks like there is a huge field of hot water. Can I expect to find this water often? If so, it would be cool if you could find this in a little spring, and to all over the map.
Another thing too - When you superheat lava, wouldn't it make sense if you had to make a special fuel to heat it. I don't think you can superheat lava in a normal furnace using coal (or lava.) Maybe a special furnace, with a special fuel would be required? If someone decide to use this for a server the heated lava would be abused alot I guess..

The huge field of hot water is the spring biome... It should be hard to find. As for the lava, I could add a option to disable it for servers.
Wow. Super-heated lava is a little bit OP! Perhaps if it didn't melt bedrock and nether materials it could be quite useful. Also, if you want, I'm quite happy to put some animations to hot water so you can spot the difference between it and spring water.
Yes, I know , added the lava to add a bit of fun and randomness to the mod.
I'm not so good with textures and animations so any kind of help with them would be much appreciated. Will it come by PM?
If I told you I'd just spent the 10 minutes this afternoon studying bubbles in my sink would it convince you I'm working on it? If I don't finish it this evening, I'll definitely have it done by the end of the weekend!
Yes... Yes indeed. I'll be looking toward to your message
Hey, Sora, did you get that update done with the animations? It's ok if not, it's exam season after all. Just checking!
I did , although it's only for the hot water's still textures -check the mod's curseforge page.
I'm also done with my test and exams although I have graduation practices DX
Would it be possile to add a config file for an alternative generation? Interesting concept, but A field of coble and water looks tacky in my opinion, I think it would look much nicer if the biomes would spawn with a few shallow hot springs. not sure if this is dead or not but I really liked it!
I'm also rather interested in this mod, but I'd like to know which biomes are most likely to have a hot spring nearby. In the screenshot it was found near a savanna and desert, but not sure if that's just random chance.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!

I only manage to find one per world... Either I need to explore some more or Minecraft just hates me ;_;

There should be no conflicts with Biomes O Plenty or Highlands but just in case, make a backup of your world.
can there be a bubbling water animation and some spring water animation like in Biomes o Plenty?
I may try that in the future.
ok cool!btw its going into my Zoo mod pack

Don't click this link, HE is haunting it...
That was due to a id conflict that I wasn't aware of at that time, you should be able to find them near snowy biome.
